Earl Bennett has yet to pass his concussion tests.

Earl Bennett (concussion) has been ruled out for Week 14 at Minnesota. Devin Hester (concussion) and Alshon Jeffery (knee) both have a chance to return this week. Hester returned for the end of Thursday's practice after missing the first part to finish his concussion testing.

A source tells the Sun-Times that Earl Bennett (concussion) is not expected to play in Sunday's game against the Vikings. Bennett lasted just 18 snaps against the Seahawks. If Alshon Jeffery (knee) can suit up this week, the Bears will lean on him as much as possible. Devin Hester is also nursing a concussion.

Earl Bennett was taken to the locker room to be evaluated for a concussion early in the third quarter of Sunday's Week 13 game versus Seattle. Bennett's most notable first-half play was a dropped bomb down the right sideline on a pinpoint vertical throw by Jay Cutler. Bennett did catch a 12-yard touchdown, however. The slot receiver's return to the game is questionable.

Earl Bennett caught four balls for 45 yards in the Bears' Week 12 win over the Vikings. Bennett secured all four of his targets on an efficient day for the Bears' slot receiver. Bennett can be a plus for Chicago's passing game when he's catching everything thrown his way, but he carries little to no fantasy value behind Brandon Marshall in a run-first Bears offense.

Earl Bennett got the "start" in Week 11 against the 49ers but caught just one pass for six yards. Bennett just happened to start out of coincidence. He was targeted just twice on the night and is far from even sniffing fantasy relevance.

Earl Bennett caught four passes for 22 yards in Chicago's Week 9 rout of the Titans. As has become the norm, Brandon Marshall was the Bears' only consistent threat in the passing game. Bennett hasn't cleared 50 yards since Week 1. Jay Cutler's college buddy is averaging just 2.6 catches for 29.6 yards. He's yet to find the end zone.

Earl Bennett caught three passes for 27 yards in Week 7. Bennett returned to action after missing the team's past two games with a hand injury, and he saw an increase in action with Alshon Jeffery out with a broken hand. Bennett caught three of his six targets, but he isn't a fantasy option at all.

Earl Bennett (hand) missed Bears practice Friday due to a sickness. The Bears don't play until Monday Night Football, so Bennett has an extra day to overcome the bug. We'll have another update on his status Saturday.
