McNabb, 36, says the team has suggested having the ceremony on September 19, when Andy Reid and the Chiefs come to town for a Thursday night game. McNabb hasn't played in a game since he started six games for the Vikings in 2011. He has since moved on to NFL Network as an analyst. McNabb played 11 seasons with the Eagles, leading them to six division titles, five NFC Championship games, and one Super Bowl appearance. He completed 59 percent of his passes for 37,276 yards, 234 touchdowns, and 117 interceptions. McNabb also ran for 29 scores, finishing with a respectable 85.6 QB rating.

Paolantonio - a highly-respected reporter - appears to be more thinking out loud than suggesting McNabb to Arizona is a distinct possibility, but it's still fascinating. McNabb, of course, spent 2012 on the couch. We would say it would be a terrible idea, but then again, Arizona is the same franchise that's given Max Hall, Derek Anderson, Ryan Lindley, John Skelton and Brian Hoyer starts in recent seasons.

Admittedly willing to play anywhere, McNabb isn't likely to be guaranteed anybody's No. 2 job.
