Coach Chan Gailey said Sunday that Donald Jones' ankle injury isn't season-ending, but admitted that "it's going to be a while." Jones likely has a high-ankle sprain at a minimum. That would leave Naaman Roosevelt as the Bills' No. 3 receiver going forward as both Marcus Easley and Roscoe Parrish are done for the season. We should know more on Jones' status by this afternoon.

Donald Jones was on crutches and sporting a protective boot on his injured left ankle following Sunday's win over the Eagles. According to WGR 550 Buffalo's Joe Buscaglia, Jones "looked crushed." At the very least, it would appear Jones has suffered a high-ankle sprain. HC Chan Gailey should update his status at his Monday press conference.

Donald Jones was forced from Sunday's game against the Eagles with a left ankle injury. He hobbled off the field before heading to the locker room. He had already reeled in two catches for 25 yards before going down. His return is likely questionable.

Donald Jones was held to just 21 yards on three catches against the Bengals in Week 4. Jones paced the Bills receivers with eight targets, but he was unable to reel in a deep ball that would have saved his fantasy day. As it is now, Jones is on pace for 56 receptions and 596 yards as the third option in the Bills' passing game.

Donald Jones led the Bills with 101 yards on five receptions against the Patriots in Week 3. Jones also tied Stevie Johnson for the team lead with 10 targets. Ryan Fitzpatrick locked on to Johnson and David Nelson early, but Jones played a big role in the second-half comeback. Jones is worth a look on the waiver wire this week, but his production will be inconsistent.

Coach Chan Gailey expects No. 2 receiver WR Donald Jones to "continue to be a bigger and bigger part of our offense." "He's a very good football player," said Gailey, "and I think going to be a very good football player for a long time here." Jones' role will expand with Roscoe Parrish and Marcus Easley out for the season, but he's behind slot receiver David Nelson in the competition for targets in Gailey's offense. With more fantasy upside, Nelson is the better waiver pickup this week.

Donald Jones confirmed that he is the Bills' No. 2 wideout. Jones beat out Marcus Easley and David Nelson for the gig despite suffering a concussion in the second preseason game. He'll start opposite Stevie Johnson against the Chiefs Sunday, but isn't on the fantasy radar. We're expecting a receiver rotation.

Donald Jones (concussion) was immediately installed with the starters upon his first practice back Monday.

Bills WR Donald Jones, projected as a starter following the Lee Evans trade, is done for the preseason with a "head" injury. Jones insists he's avoided post-concussion symptoms, but this will throw a wrench into his "rapport" with Ryan Fitzpatrick. Rookie RB Johnny White, a star so far in camp, is also done for the exhibition season with a "head" injury. Reserve receiver Naaman Roosevelt will miss "a few weeks" with an ankle injury. We have a strong suspicion the Bills are going to struggle badly out of the gate.

Bills WR Donald Jones was forced from Buffalo's preseason game against the Broncos on Saturday after taking a high hit from rookie safety Rahim Moore. Moore led with his shoulder but made helmet-to-helmet contact on a very dangerous hit near the sideline. He will almost certainly be facing a hefty fine. As for Jones, he has yet to be officially diagnosed, but a concussion would seem to be a good bet. Losing Jones for anything other than a few days would be a big blow for a Bills team (unrealistically) hoping he can step into Lee Evans' vacated starting spot.
