Hester (thigh) is expected to play in Sunday's game against Washington, though he is technically listed as questionable, Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hester played through the same injury Sunday against Oakland,, working strictly as a return specialist. He figures to reprise the same role after breaking off a 60-yard kickoff return last week.

Hester (thigh) missed practice on Thursday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.coM reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hester hasn't practiced all week after playing through his thigh aliment last Sunday. Look for more updates to come later in the week, with Chris Moore and Lardarius Webb slated to fill in as returners if Hester isn't cleared to play.

Hester (thigh) did not practice on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Hester was limited in practice all of last week, but it's unclear if he had suffered a setback in Week 4. For the time being, he's considered questionable to play this Sunday against Washington.

Hester (thigh) is active for Sunday's game against Oakland.

Hester was a limited participant in practice all week, but will suit up to resume his regular role in the return game Sunday afternoon. He'll look to bounce back after losing a fumble in Week 3's victory over Jacksonville.

Hester (thigh) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Oakland.
EDGE Analysis
Strictly a return specialist at this stage in his career, Hester still appears to have his speed, but he muffed a punt in last week's win over the Jaguars. If he misses Sunday's game, the Ravens could turn to any of Lardarius Webb, Steve Smith, Chris Moore, Tavon Young or Terrance West in the return game.

Head coach John Harbaugh said Hester will return both punts and kickoffs Sunday against the Bills, ESPN's Jamison Hensley reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hester won't have any kind of role on offense, but his dual responsibilities on special teams could give him some value in return-yardage leagues. While the Ravens might eventually try to draw up a few plays for Hester on offense, it would be unwise to expect anything of the sort in Week 1.

Hester signed a one-year deal with the Ravens on Sunday, Adam Schefter of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hester worked out for the Ravens on Friday and was able to impress the coaching staff, which has now resulted in a one-year contract. He's coming off an injury-riddled 2015 campaign where he took part in just five games with the Falcons due to a turf toe injury. However, Hester should be back to full strength and will attempt to stick with the Ravens, so look for him to make an impact on special teams as a returner, while also adding depth to the team's wide receiving core.

Hester worked out for the Ravens on Friday, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hester's workout with Baltimore comes after he was released by the Falcons back in July. Although a nagging turf toe injury troubled him since last season, Hester did pass his latest physical with the Falcons, which surely helped his free agent prospects. In fact, after working out with the Ravens on Friday, Baltimore's intention to release receiver/returner Keenan Reynolds became known, thus indicating the veteran Hester could sign with the team soon.

Hester (toe) does not plan to retire after being released by the Falcons on Tuesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hester played just five games while battling a toe injury for the majority of last season, eventually undergoing surgery in January, with his recovery timetable estimated at 4-to-6 months. Though it's possible the toe is still a concern, Hester did pass a physical before he was released by Atlanta, according to ESPN's Vaughn McClure. Hester's reputation should ensure that he gets a chance to compete for a return job with another team, but he'll likely be on the roster bubble wherever he lands. He played just one snap on offense last season, and he wasn't particularly impressive as a return man during his two-year stint in Atlanta. Regardless of how his career ends, the 33-year-old long ago cemented his reputation as the best return specialist in NFL history, recording four separate seasons with three or more special teams TDs.

Hester (toe) was released by the Falcons on Tuesday, ESPN's Adam Caplan reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hester dealt with a toe injury throughout most of the 2015 season, playing in just five games and eventually undergoing surgery in January. He didn't have a role in the Atlanta offense, strictly working as a return specialist when he was active, after catching 38 passes for 504 yards and two touchdowns in 2014. While arguably the best return man in NFL history, Hester could have trouble finding work, as he's 33 years old and may still be recovering from the surgery.
