Young played 21 snaps over the course of the game, with only Cameron Artis-Payne handling more carries among the Panthers' backs. However, in contrast to his team, which averaged over 7.5 yards per carry, Young's production was less impressive. That being said, as a fullback, Young's blocking skills are more critical to the Panthers' success than his running ability.

He's played at least 13 games in each of his seasons thus far in the league, while the only other option at fullback for the Bears prior to Young's signing was Paul Lasike.

Young has spent his entire six-year career in Washington, where he served as a reliable fullback and short-yard rusher. Prior to this past season, Young rushed for three touchdowns in back-to-back campaigns, and his experience should land him somewhere ahead of training camp this summer.

Young (ankle) is listed as active Sunday versus the Cowboys. Sparsely used this season, Young has managed to vulture the occasional goal-line look, producing five touchdowns in all. Such a scenario is difficult to rely upon, though, outside the deepest of leagues.

Young had two carries, each a one-yard touchdown run, in Saturday's win over the Eagles. Alfred Morris did the hard work, only to have Young jump in at the one-yard line to vulture two scores. It was Young's first time in the end zone since another one-yard touchdown all the way back in Week 1.
