Ellerbe (hip) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Titans, NOLA.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Saints linebacking corps has been decimated by injuries, with Hau'oli Kikaha (ankle) and Ramon Humber (hamstring) also ruled out for Sunday's game. A number of players could take on extra snaps, including David Hawthorne, Jo-Lonn Dunbar and Kasim Edebali.

Ellerbe (hip) didn't take part in Thursday's practice, the Saints' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ellerbe played through a hip injury in his last appearance in Week 7 but has missed every practice in the meantime, ensuring that his return remains up in the air. If he fails to practice Friday, the Saints could be without its starting outside linebackers (Ellerbe and Hau'oli Kikaha) Sunday against the Titans.

Ellerbe (hip) is inactive Sunday against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Ellerbe, who has at least seven tackles in three consecutive games, was unable to practice this week, leaving Ramon Humber and Jo-Lonn Dunbar to get more snaps against a decent Giants offense.

Ellerbe (hip) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Giants, Evan Woodberry of the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
EDGE Analysis
A non-participant throughout the week of practice, Ellerbe appears closer to doubtful than probable. With seven or more tackles in three consecutive games, he's emerged as a viable IDP option, even though he sometimes comes off the field. If Ellerbe can't play, either Ramon Humber or Jo-Lonn Dunbar will likely get the start.

Ellerbe (hip) didn't practice Thursday, the Saints' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
After tallying just one tackle in his season debut in Week 4, Ellerbe has been a machine over the last three games, accruing 27 tackles (26 solo), one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery. Expect the Saints to touch on his Week 8 availability in advance of the weekend.

Ellerbe (hip) made seven tackles (all solo) in Sunday's win against the Colts.
EDGE Analysis
Ellerbe played through a hip injury and once again led the Saints' defense in tackles, a week after notching a season-high 14 stops. So long as he remains healthy, Ellerbe should continue to draw the start at outside linebacker and remain a viable IDP option in many leagues.

Ellerbe (hip) is active for Sunday's game against the Colts, Evan Woodberry of the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ellerbe's stock is on the rise after he recorded a season-high 13 tackles and forced a fumble last week against the Falcons, and it doesn't appear the injury will interfere with that. He may have difficulty notching the same sort of tackle count against a more pass-oriented Colts attack, but remains worth consideration for those in need of linebacker help in IDP formats.

Ellerbe is listed as probable for Sunday's game in Indianapolis.
EDGE Analysis
Ellerbe has played more than 70 percent of the defensive snaps the past two weeks, with 20 tackles (19 solo) and a forced fumble to show for it. He'll be an interesting IDP option if he has an every-down role, but his production is otherwise bound to drop off, at least to some extent. He should be fine for Sunday.

Ellerbe (hip) was listed as a limited participant in practice Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Ellerbe suffered what appeared to be a groin injury during last Thursday's contest against the Falcons, but it appears now as if he may have been suffering from a hip injury instead. Thursday's news is a good sign, however his practice status Friday will likely indicate his availability against the Colts on Sunday. If the 29-year-old is unable to play, David Hawthorne might take over in his place.

Ellerbe (groin) made 14 tackles (13 solo), forced one fumble, and recovered another fumble in Thursday's win against the Falcons.
EDGE Analysis
Acquired this offseason in a trade with the Dolphins, Ellerbe missed most of the preseason and the first few weeks of the regular season with a significant turf toe injury. After only recording a single stop in Week 4 season debut, Ellerbe's playing time and performance have jumped each of the last two weeks. He had seven tackles (all solo) in Week 5 against the Eagles and followed that up with his huge performance Thursday against Atlanta. Ellerbe's health could be a concern, as he left with a groin injury in the second half and did not return, but if he is able to go in Week 7 against the Colts, he should be squarely on the IDP radar in most leagues.
