Ellerbe had seven tackles (two solo) and a sack in Sunday's loss to the Broncos.
EDGE Analysis
Ellerbe made his season debut in Week 8, but was forced unable to give it a go in Week 9 after suffering a setback during practice. Returning to the lineup against Denver in Week 10, Ellebe was a solid contributor, and the sack was actually his first since November 2013. With James Laurinaitis sidelined for the season, Ellerbe could be a sneaky late-season pickup in IDP leagues, as he should see ample playing time the rest of the season, if he can stay healthy.

Ellerbe (quadriceps) is active for Sunday's game against the Broncos, Herbie Teope of the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ellerbe's quad injury kept him sidelined during last Sunday's win over the 49ers, but after returning to practice this week, the linebacker has been cleared to take the field in Week 10. It will mark just his second appearance of the season, as the quad injury had previously kept him sidelined for the Saints' first six games.

Ellerbe (quadriceps) will not play Sunday against the 49ers.
EDGE Analysis
It appears Ellerbe experienced a setback in his return from his lingering quadriceps injury last week against the Seahawks. He missed every practice this week and doesn't yet have a timeline to return.

Ellerbe (quadriceps) made five tackles (four solo) on Sunday against the Seahawks.
EDGE Analysis
Ellerbe has been sidelined all year with a nagging quad injury, but he made his season debut in Week 8. While he was immediately thrust into the starting lineup, Ellerbe actually only played 18 snaps (33%) against Seattle, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune. Ellerbe is perpetually an injury risk, but he is also an extremely athletic linebacker and managed 39 tackles (34 solo) in just six games last season, including a 13-tackle performance against Atlanta last October. Assuming he doesn't suffer an injury setback and his playing time continues to creep upwards, Ellerbe could be a sneaky IDP option in the second half of the season.

Ellerbe (quadriceps) could potentially make his season debut Sunday against the Seahawks, as he is listed as questionable for the contest, Liz Mathews of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ellerbe has been injured since Week 3 of the preseason. He was limited in practice throughout the week, and figures to be a true game-time decision. Expect the Saints to exercise cautioun with the veteran if he does indeed return with a potentially limited workload.
