Peerman (shoulder) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Jeremy Hill (ankle), Giovani Bernard and Joe Mixon all lined up to play with the Bengals, Peerman wasn't slated for many offensive snaps anyways. He would have been able to vie for return opportunities if it wasn't for the emergence of Alex Erickson in 2016, so even if Peerman does get healthy enough to be activated, don't expect the Bengals to choose that route.

Peerman (undisclosed) was activated from the Non-Football Injury list Monday, Paul Dehner Jr. of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Peerman, who'd been sidelined with an undisclosed injury, passed his physical Monday and is expected to join the team at practice later on. Though he missed some time during training camp, Peerman is an incumbent special teams captain who appears to be the favorite to secure the No. 4 RB job behind Joe Mixon, Jeremy Hill and Gio Bernard.

Peerman (undisclosed) has been placed on the Active/Non-Football Injury list to begin training camp, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
It is unclear what issue Peerman is currently dealing with. The veteran has played seven of his nine seasons with the Bengals, and re-signed this offseason to the veterans minimum. He missed the first 10 games of the 2016 season due to a fractured forearm, and assuming his health, figures to continue providing depth at running back this season.

Peerman has signed a one-year contract to remain with the Bengals, the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
After missing the first 10 games of the 2016 season due to a fractured forearm, Peerman logged six carries for 15 yards in six games. Where he did make his mark, however, was on special teams. It's a role he'll reprise in 2017, while also continuing to serve as a depth option in the Bengals' backfield.

Peerman (elbow) has officially been activated from the injured reserve.
EDGE Analysis
With Giovani Bernard out for the year with an ACL tear, Peerman will look to take over the Bengals' third running back spot behind Jeremy Hill and Rex Burkhead.

Peerman (elbow) is a candidate to be added to the Bengals' active roster in advance of Sunday's game against the Ravens.
EDGE Analysis
Peerman has been designated to return from the team's IR list, but it remains to be seen if he'll immediately fill the open spot that remains on the Bengals' roster. The team could use some backfield depth, with Giovani Bernard having suffered season-ending injury and now down to Jeremy Hill and Rex Burkhead at running back.

Peerman (elbow) has been designated to return from the IR, over first-round pick William Jackson III.
EDGE Analysis
Peerman can return to practice this week but hasn't yet been activated. But the decision to go with him over Jackson is a result of Giovani Bernard's season-ending injury, and reflects that the Bengals haven't yet given up on making the playoffs.

Peerman (elbow) was placed on IR Sunday, Adam Caplan of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Peerman was expected to serve as the Bengals No. 3 running back before he suffered a broken elbow last week.

Peerman suffered a left forearm fracture in Sunday's preseason game against the Bengals, ESPN's Katherine Terrell reports.
EDGE Analysis
Valued in large part for his special teams contribution, Peerman may now be placed on injured reserve. In his absence, Bronson Hill worked as the No. 3 running back behind Jeremy Hill and Giovani Bernard.

Peerman left Sunday's preseason game against the Jaguars with an air cast on his left arm, Paul Dehner of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
A core special teamer and reserve running back, Peerman likely would've had a spot on the final roster. If he did indeed break his arm, Bronson Hill or Tra Carson may make the team.
