Williams signed with Washington on Tuesday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
EDGE Analysis
Signed to a three-year, $18 million contract in the offseason, Williams was released by the Seahawks in early December, making him one of the bigger disappointments from the 2015 free agent class. In reality, he's been pretty consistent throughout his career, rarely giving up huge plays but frequently allowing intermediate gains. Although he somehow parlayed that into a pair of big contracts, the 31-year-old Williams will likely just fill a depth role for Washington.

Williams, who signed a three-year $18 million deal in the offeseason, was released Monday by the Seahawks, the Seattle Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Williams was a huge bust for the Seahawks, who signed him to replace Byron Maxwell at right cornerback. He continually got beat downfield and struggled to master the team's coverage technique. He was benched in Week 11 after getting beat for a 36-yard completion by 49ers TE Vance McDonald and then was a healthy inactive the last two weeks. The Seahawks have allowed seven touchdowns and nine receptions of 25-plus yards to tight ends this season. Not all were Williams' fault, but the last two weeks without Williams (vs. PIT, MIN), the Seahawks allowed 11 receptions for 76 yards and no touchowns nor 25-plus yard plays. DeShawn Shead replaced him as the starting right corner.

Williams recorded three tackles, a sack, a forced fumble and a defensive touchdown in Sunday's Week 1 opener against the Rams.
EDGE Analysis
Williams had a monster day in his first game in a Seahawks' uniform. He signed with Seattle earlier this offseason after playing in Philadelphia in 2014. Williams isn't considered a popular option as an IDP but he could hold some value playing opposite of Richard Sherman.

Williams has agreed to a deal with the Seahawks, Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports reports. Williams will be officially eligible to sign with Seattle on Tuesday, although the exact terms of his pending contract have not been made public. The 30-year-old registered 59 tackles and two interceptions during the 2014 season in Philadelphia but will have to earn a spot opposite of Richard Sherman when training camp starts.

Williams was released by the Eagles on Tuesday, Phil Sheridan of ESPN.com reports. The 30-year-old Williams was a 16-game starter for the Eagles each of the last two seasons, claiming five interceptions and 126 total tackles during that time. However, with the Eagles ranking last in 2013 and second-last in 2014 in terms of passing yards allowed, the team will making the secondary its top priority in the offseason, as fellow starting defensive backs Bradley Fletcher and Nate Allen are headed for free agency and aren't expected to be retained. Williams still probably has a place in the league, but he may have to settle for a nickel back role with his next team following his ignominious run as a starter with the Eagles.

Williams (hamstring) is active Sunday against Washington, Adam Caplan of ESPN reports. Williams combined for seven interceptions in 2012 and 2013, but until he contributes outside of his nine tackles (seven solo) through two games, IDP owners will look elsewhere for amenable defensive back options.

Williams (hamstring) is probable for Sunday's game against Washington. Williams was limited Wednesday and Thursday but practiced fully Friday, so he should be at or near full speed for Sunday. With just 76 tackles in his last 18 games, he's generally not a good IDP option.

Williams (hamstring) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, the Eagles' official site reports. After managing just one solo tackle in the opener, Williams accumulated eight stops, including six solo, in Monday's win at Indianapolis. Because his combined tackle count ranged from 2-to-11 per game last season en route to 67 in a full slate, he's an up-and-down IDP contributor. Expect clarification on his availability as Sunday's contest against Washington approaches.

Eagles RCB Cary Williams' $4.75 million salary for 2014 becomes fully guaranteed on March 16. By the fifth day of the new league year, the Eagles will have to decide whether or not to cut Williams. All things considered, the 29-year-old didn't have a horrible year. Williams graded out as Pro Football Focus' No. 92 corner out of 110 qualifiers in terms of coverage but was targeted the most times. He's also a willing tackler in the run game. The Eagles need safeties more than corners.

Eagles RCB Cary Williams (hamstring) is listed as probable for Week 15. Williams was a late addition to the injury report, but he's going to be fine to face the Vikings. Just 86th-of-111 in Pro Football Focus' cornerback ratings this season, Williams has graded out 98th strictly in pass coverage.
