Palmer was dismal in Sunday's rain-soaked defeat at Miami, completing 18 of 33 passes for 145 yards and two touchdowns. Additionally, he tossed a pair of interceptions and lost one of three fumbles.
EDGE Analysis
The three-turnover performance marks Palmer's third of the season and pushes the veteran signal-caller to six outings with multiple giveaways through 13 games. Fortunately for Palmer, his turnovers only amounted to seven points for the Dolphins, who committed two of their own on the day. While the Cardinals sprung for one explosive play -- JJ Nelson's 56-yard touchdown run in the first quarter -- Palmer only directed three drives of 50-plus yards thereafter, which concluded with a missed Chandler Catanzaro field goal and his two touchdown throws. With the loss, Arizona is all but out of the playoff race at 5-7-1, but Palmer will attempt to salvage the stretch run of the season next Sunday against the Saints' 31st-ranked defense.

Palmer completed 30 of 46 passes for 300 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's 31-23 win over Washington.
EDGE Analysis
Palmer had a quiet first half, but tossed all three of his scores over the final 30 minutes. His third touchdown, a 42-yard bomb to J.J. Nelson late in the fourth quarter, iced the win for Arizona. He's been a little up and down this year, but he's now tossed seven touchdowns over the last three games. He'll face the Dolphins in Miami next week.

Palmer completed 25 of 45 passes for 289 yards to go with two touchdowns and one interception during Sunday's loss in Atlanta.
EDGE Analysis
Working behind a piecemeal offensive line, Palmer was again forced to the air 40-plus times for the fourth time in five games. On the other three occasions, he managed to reach 300 yards, but not this time around for one reason. The Falcons ramped up the pressure in the second half, notching two sacks and the game-sealing interception with 1:22 remaining. The result was four drives in which the Cardinals went punt, turnover on downs, touchdown, and the aforementioned pick, cobbling together just one possession greater than four minutes. Palmer will attempt to turn it around next Sunday against the Redskins' 18th-ranked pass defense.

Palmer completed 20 out of 38 attempts for 198 yards, two touchdowns and two picks in Sunday's loss to Minnesota. He added 11 yards on a single rush.
EDGE Analysis
Vikings corner Xavier Rhodes got the best of Palmer on Sunday, robbing an end-zone pass and returning it 100 yards for a pick-six in the second quarter and then tracking an overthrown deep ball in the third quarter for a second interception. Palmer posted his lowest yardage total of the season on Sunday and his second lowest completion percentage against a very good Minnesota defense. More concerning, it was the fifth time in his last seven games that Palmer threw at least as many interceptions as touchdowns. After a five:zero touchdown:interception ration to start the season, Palmer has been sloppy with the ball since Week 3 with a six:10 ratio to go with nine fumbles, three of them lost. Palmer is fresh off a three-game streak of at least 340 yards passing - so he can still fill a stat sheet - but Palmer is far from the surprise MVP candidate he was a year ago.

Palmer completed 30 of 49 passes for 376 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions during Sunday's 23-20 victory against the 49ers.
EDGE Analysis
What was expected to be a laugher against the one-win 49ers instead turned into a nailbiter, likely due to the Cardinals' third game of the season with at least four turnovers. Accounting for three of the four Sunday, Palmer was strip-sacked on the first drive of the second half, leading directly to a Phil Dawson 53-yard field goal. Palmer's first interception wasn't his fault, as his pass bounced off JJ Nelson's chest and into the waiting arms of safety Eric Reid. However, the second could have been a back-breaker. On a promising drive late in regulation, Palmer gave a gift to linebacker Gerald Hodges in San Francisco territory, after which the visitors proceeded to march down the field and knot up the score at 20. Aided by leaping grabs from his receivers all day, Palmer's final connection with Michael Floyd set the tone for a drive that concluded with a game-winning 34-yard field goal from Chandler Catanzaro. In the end, Palmer has surpassed 340 yards in three consecutive contests, but four touchdowns versus three interceptions during that span isn't exactly inspiring.

Palmer practiced in full Thursday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
After a veteran's day off, Palmer performed, as expected, and will be under center for Sunday's game versus the 49ers. While he's fallen short of last year's career season, he should get back on track against a defense that has given up 18 touchdown passes over the last seven outings.

Palmer received a rest day from Wednesday's practice, Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
When he was seen wearing a hat rather than a helmet in the part of practice open to the media, there was worry that Palmer was tending to a previously unknown ailment. Instead, he's getting a scheduled day off from a session in which he typically doesn't do much, according to head coach Bruce Arians. After his removal from the injury report in the coming days, Palmer will have a juicy matchup on tap Sunday against a 49ers defense that has conceded multiple passing touchdowns to quarterbacks in seven straight games.

Palmer completed 35 of 46 passes for 363 yards and three touchdowns during Sunday's loss in Carolina. However, he was sacked eight times, tossed an interception, and lost one of two fumbles
EDGE Analysis
Palmer has accumulated at least 300 passing yards in back-to-back games, but extenuating circumstances allowed him to rack up 49 and 46 throws, respectively. Last week, it was a five-quarter contest, while falling behind 24-0 with only minutes left in the first half Sunday forced the offense to the air thereafter. Palmer was partly to blame, as his first turnover (a fumble) was returned 46 yards for a touchdown on the first possession of the game. Later, after he clawed the Cardinals within 30-20 with five minutes remaining and Panthers RB Jonathan Stewart fumbled the ball away at the 3:28 mark in the fourth quarter, Palmer was promptly intercepted when David Johnson couldn't corral a pass that landed in Kony Ealy's arms, ending any shot of a comeback bid. With a bye week on tap and Arizona sitting at 3-4-1, Palmer and the rest of the offense will look to regroup before a divisional matchup against the 49ers on Nov. 13.

Palmer (hamstring) does not have an injury designation for Sunday's game in Carolina, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Palmer was a full practice participant Friday, after managing limited showings Wednesday and Thursday. He'll face a struggling Carolina pass defense, but injuries in the receiving corps could detract from the seemingly favorable matchup. In addition to recently losing Jaron Brown (torn ACL) for the season, Arizona has Michael Floyd (hamstring) and John Brown (hamstring) listed as questionable for Sunday. It does seem Brown is on track to play, but Floyd's availability remains up in the air.

Palmer was limited at Wednesday's practice by a hamstring injury, Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
In the aftermath of the Cardinals' Week 6 win against the Jets, it was revealed that Palmer suffered cramps in his hamstring late in the game. He proceeded to follow a DNP/limited/limited practice regimen but still started Sunday versus the Seahawks, reaching 342 yards in the extended affair. As long as he emerges from practice unscathed this week, he'll take aim at the Panthers' 26th ranked defense Sunday in a rematch of last season's NFC championship game.
