Working behind a piecemeal offensive line, Palmer was again forced to the air 40-plus times for the fourth time in five games. On the other three occasions, he managed to reach 300 yards, but not this time around for one reason. The Falcons ramped up the pressure in the second half, notching two sacks and the game-sealing interception with 1:22 remaining. The result was four drives in which the Cardinals went punt, turnover on downs, touchdown, and the aforementioned pick, cobbling together just one possession greater than four minutes.
