The New Orleans Saints re-signed wide receiver Brandon Tate on Tuesday, according to a source. He will be at practice on Wednesday. Tate was released by the team before the season started. He had just six catches for 81 yards and a touchdown in 13 games with the Bills in 2017. The Saints will likely use him more for his special teams talents, so he can be ignored in fantasy.

The New England Patriots also tried out free-agent running backs Orleans Darkwa, Charles Sims and wide receiver Brandon Tate on Tuesday. Tate was the team's third-round pick in 2009. New England already signed wideouts Corey Coleman and Bennie Fowler and running back Kenjon Barner on Tuesday, so it's unclear if they will add any more bodies for depth with running back Jeremy Hill (knee) now done for the year and receiver Julian Edelman suspended for three more games.
