Fletcher was released by the Patriots on Saturday, ESPN's Field Yates reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fletcher hasn't played since Week 2 when he picked up four tackles and a forced fumble in a win over the Bills, as the veteran cornerback had fallen to No. 5 on the depth chart. He could catch on with another team desperate for some help in the secondary.

The Patriots will sign Fletcher, ESPN.com reports. Per the report, Fletcher's one-year deal has a maximum value of $2.5 million. Fletcher, who recorded 61 tackles and a pick in 15 games for the Eagles last season, will have a chance to compete for a starting role with the Patriots, with both Darrelle Revis and Brandon Browner having departed via free agency. Fletcher is in line to jostle with the likes of Alfonzo Dennard, Chimdi Chekwa, Logan Ryan, Malcolm Butler and Kyle Arrington for slotting at cornerback, plus it's quite possible the team will add further depth to the position as the offseason rolls along.

Eagles CB Bradley Fletcher (pectoral) is practicing Tuesday. Fletcher was inactive for Sunday's win over the Packers, but is considered day to day and was cleared to return to practice. Roc Carmichael started at outside corner in Week 10, with Brandon Boykin remaining in the slot.

Eagles declared CB Bradley Fletcher (pectoral) inactive for Sunday's Week 10 game at Green Bay. It's a significant loss for the Eagles. Not only will they not have their top outside corner in Fletcher, but they'll have to move top slot corner Brandon Boykin out of his comfort zone. Expect Seneca Wallace to perform far better than he did after Aaron Rodgers got hurt last week. The rest of the Eagles inactives: QB Vick, RB Matt Tucker, LB Jake Knott, G Matt Tobin, T Dennis Kelly and WR B.J. Cunningham

Eagles RCB Bradley Fletcher (concussion) has been medically cleared. Fletcher will resume practicing Monday and will start opposite Cary Williams against the Chiefs on Thursday night. Slot corner Brandon Boykin did a great job moving outside against Vincent Brown in Week 2, but that left the inside vulnerable. Eddie Royal burned the Eagles for an absurd 7/90/3 line.

Eagles declared RCB Bradley Fletcher (concussion) inactive for Sunday's Week 2 game against the Chargers. Undersized slot corner Brandon Boykin will start in place of Fletcher. It would be a concern if the Chargers still had both Malcom Floyd and Danario Alexander, but DX is out for the year with a knee injury. Boykin is capable of holding his own against Vincent Brown and Eddie Royal. No surprises on the rest of the Eagles inactives: QB Matt Barkley, DB Shaun Prater, G Matt Tobin, T Dennis Kelly (back), DL Vinny Curry and TE Emil Igwenagu.

Eagles RCB Bradley Fletcher (concussion) has been ruled out for Week 2. The Birds will start LCB Cary Williams and usual nickel back Brandon Boykin on the corners. If Philly wasn't such a great bet to control time of possession at home versus the cross country-traveling Chargers, we'd view this as an upgrade for Philip Rivers' matchup. It just probably won't help much.

Eagles CB Bradley Fletcher sustained a concussion during Monday night's Week 1 win over the Redskins. On a short week, Fletcher is highly questionable for Sunday's game against the Chargers. The Eagles have brought back Brandon Hughes to serve as depth and nickel corner Brandon Boykin is going to have to play every snap.

The Philadelphia Inquirer reports Eagles CB Bradley Fletcher's play in training camp hasn't been impressive. Fletcher and Cary Williams were signed as free agents in the offseason, but both players have struggled to stay on the field due to nagging injuries. Brandon Boykin, who most figured to be the nickel corner, has outplayed both veterans, and he's now a favorite to start on the outside. This Eagles secondary has been torched by Tom Brady in joint-team practices the last two days, and it's shaping up as a secondary to target in fantasy matchups this season.

Both The Sideline View and CSN Philly report the Eagles aren't considering using new CB Bradley Fletcher in the slot. The Eagles view Fletcher as a pure outside corner, meaning there's a good chance he'll be in the starting lineup come Week 1. Penalties and consistency are parts of Fletcher's game that could use some cleaning up, but he could end up a shrewd signing for Chip Kelly and company.
