Pittsburgh is releasing Robinson on Friday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Robinson and veteran cornerback Patrick Peterson are both being cut by the Steelers, saving roughly $10 and $7 million against the cap for the team, respectively. Even though he started all 17 games last season and played a hefty 741 offensive snaps, Robinson concluded the 2023 campaign with just 34 catches for 280 yards on 49 targets, without a touchdown. Now heading into his age-31 campaign, the veteran wideout may be able to latch on as a No. 3 option elsewhere in the league if he agrees to an affordable salary, but his days of fantasy relevance may well be over.

The Steelers will add $10 million in 2024 cap space if Robinson is released this offseason, Mark Kaboly of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Robinson technically has one year remaining on his contract but was always a long shot to actually see the money. That's especially true after he somehow managed to produce just 280 receiving yards and no TDs despite starting all 17 games in 2017 and playing 72 percent of Pittsburgh's snaps on offense. If Robinson does stick around, it'll be with a renegotiated contract that puts him much closer to the veteran's minimum than to his currently scheduled salary of $10 million. Even in that scenario, he's unlikely to be assured of a top-three role under new offensive coordinator Arthur Smith.

Robinson was diagnosed with a concussion during Monday's wild-card loss in Buffalo, Burt Lauten of the Steelers' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
After hitting his helmet on the turf late in the third quarter and staying down on the field for a spell, Robinson went to the locker room to be checked for a head injury. With a concussion confirmed, he'll finish his first season with the Steelers with a 34-280-0 line on 49 targets in 17 games.

Robinson went the locker room during Monday's wild-card game at Buffalo to be evaluated for a concussion, Burt Lauten of the Steelers' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Robinson's helmet hit the turf late in the third quarter, and he immediately was escorted to the locker room. Assuming he's diagnosed with a concussion, he'll finish Pittsburgh's postseason opener with two catches (on three targets) for 12 yards.

Robinson secured 34 of 49 targets for 280 yards over 17 games in 2023.
EDGE Analysis
Although Robinson appeared in every game this season, his decline in production continued during his first year in Pittsburgh. He averaged under 10 yards per reception for the first time in his career, and his 280 receiving yards represented a career-low mark over a full season. Part of his struggles can attributed to the Steelers' lack of offensive production for most of the year, but the 30-year-old's results have trended downward over the past three seasons. If he remains in Pittsburgh in 2024, it seems unlikely that he'd see a significant increase in production.

Robinson wasn't targeted during the Steelers' 30-23 win over the Seahawks on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Robinson drew at least three targets in each of his four appearances leading up to Week 17, but he wasn't involved in the passing game Sunday as quarterback Mason Rudolph targeted just four pass catchers in the win. While Robinson should continue to see ample playing time during Pittsburgh's regular-season finale next week, he hasn't displayed much fantasy upside this season.

Robinson secured all four of his targets for 36 yards during Saturday's 34-11 win over Cincinnati.
EDGE Analysis
Pittsburgh's offense was clicking with Mason Rudolph under center Saturday, and Robinson had his highest reception total since Week 5 and his highest yardage total since the regular-season opener. He's tallied double-digit yards in six consecutive games, securing 15 of 18 targets for 126 yards during that time. Despite Saturday's encouraging performance, it seems unlikely that Robinson will be a significant fantasy asset over the final two weeks of the season.

Robinson secured all three of his targets for 19 yards during the Steelers' 30-13 loss to the Colts on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The Steelers were unable to return to the win column during Saturday's matchup, and Robinson's role remained limited. He's been held below five targets in each of his nine appearances since Pittsburgh's Week 6 bye, and he's secured 13 of 18 targets for 107 yards during that time.

Robinson secured one of three targets for 21 yards during the Steelers' 21-18 loss to the Patriots on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Robinson was targeted twice earlier in Thursday's matchup, but his lone reception came on the final play of the game when the Steelers tried to pull off a miracle with a long field and no timeouts. He's now tallied double-digit receiving yards in four consecutive games, securing eight of 11 targets for 71 yards during that time. However, the 30-year-old's results haven't been enough to make him a fantasy-relevant option.

Robinson caught all three of his targets for 19 yards in Sunday's 24-10 loss to the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran wideout caught three or more passes for just the fifth time this year, bringing his total up to 26 receptions through 12 games. All of Robinson's targets came after Kenny Pickett (ankle) left Sunday's game, and with Pickett missing some time, Mitch Trubisky is in line to assume the starting signal-caller duties. Trubisky and Robinson spent three years together in Chicago, so the two could have built some rapport with one another during that time. Even with Trubisky starting, Robinson will likely remain a non-viable option for fantasy managers, as he ranks fifth on the Steelers in receiving yards on the season (204 yards).
