Gotta degenerative back," Washburn said. "Everybody hates him. I love him." Haynesworth hasn't made a single visit in free agency, and notched zero sacks in 13 games between the Bucs and Patriots last season. Washburn is likely right.

There is nothing "imminent" with free agent DT Albert Haynesworth at this time, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Schefter suggests that Haynesworth will need some injuries around the league before he gets a strong look. As he enters his age-31 season, the former All-Pro's on-field production isn't worth anything near the off-field distractions he brings to a team.

Albert Haynesworth is active for Sunday's Week 17 game against the Falcons. Haynesworth is getting a jersey, but Roy Miller and Frank Okam are starting at the defensive tackle spots. The Bucs have no surprises in their season finale.
