Steelers signed P Adam Podlesh, formerly of the Bears. Podlesh finished 29th in the league with his 37.9 net average last season and isn't going to a friendlier place to kick footballs. He'll compete with Brad Wing and potentially a rookie for punting duties in Pittsburgh.

Jaguars GM Gene Smith confirmed that re-signing free agent P Adam Podlesh is a "high priority" this week. The Jags can negotiate with Podlesh all week and lock him up long term as soon as Friday night. They should expect competition, however. Podlesh is one of the more athletic punters in football and set a franchise record with a 39.2 net average last season. There are lots of teams with uncertainty at punter.
