Green averaged 5.9 points, 1.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 0.8 three-pointers in 18.3 minutes per game in his first season with the Magic. Green is the only unrestricted free agent on the Magic. He's hinted at playing a few more years, but at age 33, he's mostly known for being a calming locker room presence with defensive savvy. Green met with Magic management and expressed an interest in returning to the club that claimed him off waivers last summer. Midway through the season, former coach Jacque Vaughn utilized Green as a primary ballhandler off the bench, a role that transferred over under interim head coach James Borrego. Prior to the role change, Green participated in two of the previous 18 games, mainly DNP-CDs. After struggling early in the season, Green finished the second half shooting 39 percent from downtown, well above his career mark.

Green (knee) managed to play 15 minutes off the bench against the Raptors on Friday. During that short stint on the court he accrued five points, one rebound, and two steals. Green was dealing with a knee injury ahead of Friday's game but he seems to be in clear for the final stretch of the season after playing his customary role off the bench in Orlando.

Green is active for Friday's game, Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel reports. Green missed the last game Wednesday against the Bulls due to a hyperextended knee, but he'll return to action Friday and should see his usual workload of 18-to-22 minutes off the bench. Luke Ridnour (personal) will also be active, while Ben Gordon and Devyn Marble will serve as the inactives.

Green (knee) will not play Wednesday, Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel reports. The veteran has a hyperextended knee, and he'll join Luke Ridnour (paternity) on the inactive list Wednesday. Orlando will be short-staffed in the backcourt, so look for Victor Oladipo and Elfrid Payton to see big minutes as the starting pair.

Green doesn't plan to retire at season's end, the Orlando Sentinel reports. Green was claimed off waivers last offseason with one year left on his contract and will become an unrestricted free agent this summer. He transformed into the Magic's backup point guard midway through the season, a role that carried over after the coaching change. Green believes he has three of four years left, and he wouldn't mind returning to the Magic, admitting "I like where it's going here in this organization, and I still feel like I have something to offer to the game."

Green (back) posted 11 points and three assists in 29 minutes of action Sunday against the Nuggets. Green returned from a six-game absence Sunday and managed to log a solid performance. He averaged 8.7 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.5 threes in February before he got hurt, and there's a chance he'll post similar numbers moving forward. Still, he's only an option in 16-man leagues or deeper.

Green (back) is expected to play in Sunday's game against the Nuggets, the Orlando Sentinel reports. Green has been off the court since March 10 but is in line to make his long-awaited return Sunday. Although, it would be surprising if he saw significant minutes in his first game back since he'll need to get into the swing of things before he takes on a full workload.

Green (back) will be a game-time decision Sunday against the Nuggets, Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel reports. Green has missed the past six games with back spasms, so the fact that he could play Sunday is good news for his recovery. Back injuries can be tricky though, so expect Orlando to be caution with Green since they have little to play for.

Green (back) will not play Friday against Portland, Fox Sports Florida's Dante Marchitelli reports. Green will miss his sixth straight game due to back spasms, and he's without a target return date. Tobias Harris, Dewayne Dedmon, Evan Fournier and Devyn Marble will all sit out as well, so the Magic will only have 10 active players.

Green (back) is questionable to play Friday against Portland, Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel reports. Green, who did not play Wednesday, has now missed five straight games due to back spasms. Coach James Borrego said he'll be evaluated during the afternoon and a decision will be made closer to tipoff.
