Suns waive C Slava Kravtsov. Kravtsov is sidelined with a sprained ankle and he wasn't a part of Phoenix's rotation under the best of circumstances, so his departure is meaningless for fantasy purposes. Suns big man Slava Kravtsov averaged 7.2 points and 4.0 rebounds for Ukraine during the first round of EuroBasket. Kravtsov is splitting minutes with Kyryl Natyazhko, but it's encouraging that he's even healthy enough to play. According to Mike Fratello, who is coaching Ukraine, "[Kravtsov] has a bone chip from years ago when he broke his wrist. We didn't know if we would have him or not." With Alex Len drafted and Channing Frye (heart) seemingly ready to return, there will be scant opportunities for Kravtsov in the Suns' frontcourt.

The Suns acquired Vyacheslav Kravtsov in the Caron Butler trade. The Bucks were likely just going to release Slava anyway, after they had already waived Gustavo Ayon. He was picked up by Milwaukee last month as part of the Brandon Jennings deal from Detroit. The Suns do need some depth up front with Luis Scola in Indiana, Michael Beasley a possible player to be cut and Channing Frye still dealing with heart issues. Still, Slava isn't worth drafting in fantasy leagues.

The Bucks are expected to release newly acquired C Slava Kravtsov. Kravtsov was just a throw-in in the Brandon Jennings/Brandon Knight trade. He was never going to get any real minutes behind Larry Sanders and Zaza Pachulia anyway.

Bucks acquired C Vyacheslav Kravtsov via trade with the Pistons. Kravtsov is a 25-year-old Russian project that goes 6'11/253. He appeared in 25 games for the Pistons as a rookie last year, averaging 3.1 points and 1.8 rebounds in 8.9 minutes a night. He'll slide in behind Larry Sanders and Zaza Pachulia with the Bucks.

Pistons C Slava Kravtsov won't play on Tuesday due to a pulled groin. Kravtsov started in place of Andre Drummond on Monday, racking up nine points, eight rebounds and two blocks, but he hurt himself in the process. Groin injuries typically require extended rest, so Kravtsov's Summer League may be over.

The Pistons have guaranteed Vyacheslav Kravtsov's $1.5 million salary for the 2013-14 season. The deal was partially guaranteed for $500k, but the Pistons like Kravtsov's potential (and solid 7'0" frame) enough to continue developing him.
