Sessions (knee) will be out four to six weeks with a lateral meniscus tear, Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
The four to six week mark puts Sessions out until at least Mar. 3 against the Pacers. The two other reserve point guards on the roster, Brian Roberts and Ray McCallum, will be the next men up in Sessions' absence. It's unknown at this time who will carry the heavier burden, but we should find out after a few games. It should be noted that McCallum is on a 10-day contract, so his future status on the team may be determined by how he plays.

Sessions (knee) has been diagnosed with a lateral meniscus tear in his left knee and will be out for Saturday's tilt against the Jazz.
EDGE Analysis
Sessions will be re-evaluated upon returning to Charlotte to determine a timetable for his return. He's averaging 6.2 points, 2.6 assists and 1.5 rebounds across 16.2 minutes per game in 50 appearances this season. Whatever time he ends up missing will likely be filled by Brian Roberts and/or Ray McCallum.

Coach Steve Clifford said he doesn't expect Sessions (knee) to play Saturday against the Jazz, Rick Bonnell of The Charlotte Observer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Unless Sessions makes significant progress in his recovery from the sore knee overnight, it looks like he'll miss his first game of the season. Sessions' likely absence would allow either Brian Roberts or the newly-signed Ray McCallum to settle in as the backup point guard behind starter Kemba Walker, who is dealing with an illness and is questionable to play Saturday.

Sessions is dealing with some soreness in his knee and is questionable for Saturday's tilt with the Jazz, Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Look for more updates on the veteran's status to come after the team goes through shootaround Saturday morning. Starting point guard Kemba Walker (illness) is also questionable for the contest, which could leave Brian Roberts and newly signed Ray McCallum in charge of the ball-handling responsibilities.

Sessions scored 17 points (3-8 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 8-8 FT) while adding two rebounds and two assists in 19 minutes off the bench during Saturday's 112-105 win over the Nets.
EDGE Analysis
The 30-year-old guard hadn't scored more than 13 points in a game this season prior to Saturday, and has only reached double-digits in six games overall. Sessions is still capable of occasional gusts of production, but his minutes and role are too limited to allow him any sort of consistency as a fantasy asset.

Sessions recorded six points (3-4 FG, 0-1 FT), four assists, one rebound and one steal across 16 minutes in a 108-98 win over the Celtics on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Sessions isn't in danger of losing his top backup job to third-string point guard Brian Roberts, but he's not in line to see an upgrade in playing time either so long as All-Star hopeful Kemba Walker is healthy. The veteran has seen 30-plus minutes in just one game this season, a Dec. 16 loss to the Celtics when he started in place of Walker, who was out for personal reasons.

Sessions put up 13 points (5-9 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, two steals and one assist in 22 minutes during Wednesday's 120-101 win over the Magic.
EDGE Analysis
Sessions' 22 minutes of action was his second highest total in the month of December, as his minutes have been sporadic at best over the course of the season. He's averaging just 6.2 points per game, which would be his lowest mark since the 2014-15 campaign. Sessions' minutes don't figure to increase any time soon, leaving him relatively useless in most fantasy formats.

Sessions started Friday in a 96-88 loss to the Celtics and registered a season-high 13 points (5-16 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds and six assists across 32 minutes.
EDGE Analysis
Sessions got a season-high 32 minutes as Kemba Walker (personal) was out Friday. He is capable of being a decent all-around performer if he gets around 30 minutes, but he will rarely see this kind of action as long as the Hornets are healthy. Walker is expected to return Saturday against the Hawks, so Sessions will likely be shifting back into his normal role off the bench.

Sessions will start at point guard Friday against the Celtics.
EDGE Analysis
Sessions will get the nod Friday in place of Kemba Walker, who is away from the team for personal reasons. Walker will return to action Saturday, but Sessions should play an expanded role Friday as part of the starting unit.

Sessions scored nine points (2-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-7 FT) and provided three assists and two rebounds across 15 minutes in Saturday's 107-102 win over the Knicks.
EDGE Analysis
Sessions has forged out a nice 10-year career as a capable backup point guard and occasionally useful spot starter, but he's struggled mightily so far in 2016-17, averaging a career-low 5.3 points in 17.5 minutes per game while shooting 35.8 percent from the floor. While Saturday's outing marked a step in the right direction from a performance standpoint, he'll have a hard time routinely surpassing 20 minutes in most games with starter Kemba Walker in the midst of a career-best campaign on the heels of last season's breakout.
