The Nets were annihilated by the Celtics, and Mills struggled despite being one of the only reliable backcourt options available. When he struggles with his shot, he typically doesn't put up enough ancillary stats to make up for it.

The 33-year-old has made at least three three-pointers in each of the past eight games, and he's shot 47.3 percent from deep during that stretch while averaging 16.1 points, 2.4 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.3 steals.

Mills chipped in 24 points (8-21 FG, 6-12 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, four assists, two blocks and two steals across 38 minutes during Saturday's 110-106 loss to the Warriors.

Kevin Durant played only 15 minutes before leaving with a knee injury, which resulted in numerous Nets players having to step up. Durant was diagnosed Sunday with a sprained MCL and is expected to miss at least a month, so Mills will likely see an increased workload for the foreseeable future.
