Mills should be in line for heftier minutes and usage than usual with most of the Nets' regulars out of commission. However, his role should decline to a minimum when the playoffs fire up.

Mills finished Sunday's 119-106 loss to the Magic with four points (2-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt) and two assists over 16 minutes.

EDGE Analysis

With Seth Curry (personal) and Royce O'Neale (rest) sidelined, Mills saw his first game action since March 9. However, the veteran wasn't all that aggressive and failed to make a major impact as the Nets dropped a disappointing game to Orlando. Mills has made just three appearances since Feb. 11, so he can safely be ignored in most fantasy formats, especially if O'Neale is back in action for Brooklyn moving forward.

Mills chipped in 23 points (8-16 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal across 31 minutes during Thursday's 118-113 loss to the Bucks.

EDGE Analysis

With a handful of Brooklyn's regulars sidelined for the first half of a back-to-back set and head coach Jacque Vaughn opting to bench his starters following a slow start Thursday, Mills saw action for just the second time since the league resumed following the All-Star break, and he came out of nowhere to record his second-best scoring mark of the campaign. Despite the solid stat line, the veteran floor general is not a consistent part of the rotation. He's not expected to see consistent minutes going forward, meaning he won't be an asset in fantasy, either.

Mills provided zero points (0-5 FG, 0-3 3Pt) and one block in 12 minutes during Monday's 124-116 loss to the Clippers.

EDGE Analysis

Mills hasn't been a consistent part of the Nets' rotation, even with them missing a lot of key players in their backcourt, and he didn't do anything to change that with his scoreless performance on Monday night. He belongs on the waiver wire in most formats.

Mills finished Monday's 121-104 win over the Lakers with 21 points (7-12 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three assists and two steals in 26 minutes.

EDGE Analysis

With both T.J. Warren (shin) and Ben Simmons (knee) joining Kevin Durant (knee) on the sideline for the second game in a row, Mills was once again able to handle double-digit minutes with the second unit. He made the most of the opportunity, catching fire from downtown and cleaning up at the free-throw line en route to his second-best scoring performance of the season. Mills can be an appealing streaming option for three-pointers in games when he's guaranteed 20 minutes, but he'll likely be in store for a significant role reduction as soon as at least one of Warren, Simmons and Durant is available to play again.

Mills contributed seven points (3-7 FG, 1-5 3Pt), one rebound and two assists in 11 minutes during Saturday's 122-115 victory over New York.

EDGE Analysis

Mills was in the rotation for the second straight game, logging 11 minutes following a 19-minute effort Thursday. It's been a rough season for Mills, remaining on the bench for the majority of games. While he does provide a solid locker room presence, Mills is no longer a viable fantasy asset, even in the deepest of leagues.

Mills finished with zero points (0-2 FG) across six minutes during Tuesday's 106-98 loss to the Spurs.

EDGE Analysis

Mills saw action for the second straight game, but he failed to record a single stat. After playing in the first 20 games of the season, Mills has fallen out of favor lately. Given he is not even in the rotation most nights, Mills can be safely left on the fantasy waiver wire, even in deeper formats.

Mills (illness) participated in Tuesday's practice and will be available for Wednesday's matchup against Golden State, Nick Friedell of ESPN.com reports.

EDGE Analysis

Mills missed back-to-back games due to an illness, but he'll be back in the mix Wednesday. The veteran sharpshooter has appeared in just one contest since Nov. 25, but he drew the start during the matchup, as Brooklyn rested the majority of its regulars, and posted 24 points, six rebounds and six assists across 34 minutes. It's unclear what Mills' role will be now that he's healthy, but it appears Joe Harris, Seth Curry and Edmond Sumner are all ahead of him on the depth chart.

Mills (illness) will not suit up for Sunday's game against the Pistons.

EDGE Analysis

Mills will miss a third game due to illness after being knocked out of the rotation for seven games spanning late November into early December. He did appear and play 34 minutes on Dec. 10, however, the Nets rested nearly their entire usual rotation in the game which allowed Mills to see the court. His next chance to play will come Wednesday against the Warriors.
