The Cavaliers agreed to a trade Thursday that would send Dunleavy and a 2019 first-round pick to the Hawks in exchange for Kyle Korver, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
There could still be some additional parts in the trade and a third team could be added in the deal to take on Dunleavy, but both the Cavaliers and the Hawks plan to finalize the deal by Friday. While the Hawks are willing to retain Dunleavy in order to make the trade work, he could ultimately be waived upon joining the team, as the Hawks would only take on his contract in order to acquire the first-round pick. The 36-year-old has been generally healthy this season after missing a large portion of the 2015-16 campaign due to back issues, but he's been an inconsistent member of the Cavs rotation and has struggled when he's received the opportunity to play. Dunleavy, who is owed $4.8 million in 2016-17 and is guaranteed $1.7 million of his $5.1 million contract for 2017-18, is averaging career lows in points (4.6) and minutes (15.9) per game while shooting a substandard 35.1 percent from three-point range.

Dunleavy (ankle) has been cleared to play in Wednesday's matchup with the Bulls, K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dunleavy has missed the last two games with a right ankle sprain, but felt good after pregame warmups and has now been given the green light to take the court Wednesday. Both Kyrie Irving (hamstring) and Kevin Love (illness) have already been ruled out, while LeBron James (illness) is still considered questionable, so Dunleavy could pick up some decent playing time if his ankle doesn't give him any issues.

Dunleavy (ankle) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Bulls.
EDGE Analysis
The injury report classifies Dunleavy's injury as a right ankle sprain, which has sidelined him for the previous two games. Along with Dunleavy, J.R. Smith (thumb) is out, Kyrie Irving (hamstring) is questionable and LeBron James (illness) and Kevin Love (illness) are also uncertain to suit up Wednesday, so the aging veteran's potential absence could loom larger than normal. Clarification on Dunleavy's status should come after the team conducts its morning shootaround.

Dunleavy (ankle) will not play Monday against the Pelicans, Fred McLeod of Cavs.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dunleavy will sit for the second straight game Monday after missing Saturday's tilt against the Hornets due to an ankle injury. The severity of his injury is undisclosed, but the Cavaliers shouldn't suffer with Dunleavy's absence. Expect Channing Frye to receive extra playing time off the bench while Dunleavy is sidelined. The next opportunity he has to see the court against is Wednesday against Chicago.

Dunleavy will not play Saturday against the Hornets due to an ankle injury, Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
EDGE Analysis
The nature of the injury is unclear, but Dunleavy is listed as out with an ankle issue. The veteran has been playing only a minor role off the bench, but in his absence Channing Frye figures to pick up some extra run.

Dunleavy recorded 14 points (6-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt), four rebounds and one assist across 22 minutes during Friday's 119-99 win against Brooklyn.
EDGE Analysis
Dunleavy had his best game of the season, a great sign for Cleveland with the news that J.R. Smith (thumb) is expected to be sidelined for 12-to-14 weeks. He will probably be looking at a jump in playing time with Smith out as he provides the team more three-point shooting than the other backup guards have to offer.

Thu 12/15/16 12:58 PM

Dunleavy started at small forward and posted 11 points (3-6 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-5 FT), six rebounds and one steal across 23 minutes in Wednesday's 93-85 loss to the Grizzlies.
EDGE Analysis
Dunleavy had missed the Cavs' previous two games in coach's decisions, but the absences of LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love for rest purposes allowed Dunleavy to enter the starting five Wednesday and tie his season high in minutes. Though he turned in some solid production, particularly from beyond the arc, Dunleavy won't regularly surpass the 20-minute mark when the Cavaliers are at full strength. Expect him to settle into a more reduced role off the bench in Saturday's game against the Lakers and potentially fall out of coach Tyronn Lue's rotation.

Dunleavy will start at small forward in Wednesday's game against the Grizzlies, Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dunleavy will enter the lineup with LeBron James being held out to rest. He will likely split minutes on the wing with Iman Shumpert and Richard Jefferson, but should still expect see 15-20 minutes Wednesday for an undermanned Cavaliers squad.

Dunleavy (concussion) is back with the team and has been cleared for Monday's matchup with the Raptors, Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dunleavy has missed the last two games due to a concussion, but has passed through the league-mandated protocol and was back with the team at Sunday's practice. He'll be good to go for Monday's tilt with the Raptors, so look for him to slot back in as depth on the wing, likely seeing minutes in the mid-to-high teens on most nights.

Dunleavy (concussion) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Bulls, K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
It will be Dunleavy's second straight absence as he continues to recover from a concussion. He will not be able to extract revenge against his former time, but his next opportunity to return will be Monday against the Raptors. His status will depend on if he can pass the team's concussion protocol.
