Malcolm Lee started at shooting guard for injured Brandon Roy (knee) on Monday, scoring four points on 2-of-6 shooting with three rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 23 minutes. Lee played some decent defense on O.J. Mayo, but he has no real fantasy value even with the Wolves being beat up.

Malcolm Lee will start at shooting guard for injured Brandon Roy (knee) on Monday against the Mavs. Barring a big surprise, Lee will function more as a placeholder to keep Alexey Shved with the second unit in order to maintain continuity, and maybe to defend O.J. Mayo a little bit. Look for Shved and Luke Ridnour to play heavy minutes tonight, while Lee is only worth a look as a spot-play in deep formats.

Malcolm Lee managed just two rebounds and was held scoreless in five minutes Wednesday. Lee was returning from a groin injury that's limited him for much of training camp. He presents zero fantasy value and owners can ignore him come draft day.

Malcolm Lee (groin) returned to practice on Monday. He missed some time this weekend due to the injury, but he's back at practice and should be available for the remainder of the preseason barring a setback.

Malcolm Lee (groin) did not make the trip to play in Friday's game against Indiana. Lee has lost what little fantasy value he had based on Brandon Roy looking good in Minnesota's preseason opener on Wednesday. Fantasy owners can ignore him on draft day.

Wolves guard Malcolm Lee (groin) did not practice on Friday. Lee is buried on the depth chart and even if Brandon Roy's knee goes out, he has a long way to go before he'll have any fantasy value.

Malcom Lee (groin) was held out of Thursday's practice. Lee was dealing with knee issues and it kept him out of the summer league, but earlier this week he said his knee was back to 100 percent. He's not quite worth drafting and will likely need the oft-injured Brandon Roy to miss time in order to have fantasy value.

Wolves G Malcolm Lee said his knee feels "100 percent" healthy entering training camp. The injury forced Lee to sit out of Summer League, but he's ready to prove to coach Rick Adelman that he can handle backup SG minutes behind Brandon Roy. Given the state of Roy's knee there is some upside for Lee this season, though he could also be squeezed out by Adelman's small-ball pairings of guys like Ricky Rubio, Luke Ridnour and J.J. Barea.

Malcolm Lee (knee) will not play in summer league. Lee is being "held back" to focus on his strength and conditioning to prepare for training camp, and he still may be trying to work his way back to 100 percent after surgery in December of 2011.

Malcolm Lee (illness) did not play in Sunday's loss to the Warriors. Lee's sickness forced J.J. Barea to play all 48 minutes. His status for Thursday's season finale is unknown.
