Calderon (hamstring) is listed as out for Tuesday's game against the Hornets, Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Calderon was able to complete running and shooting drills during the Lakers' morning shootaround, but he'll still be sidelined for a ninth straight game with the strained right hamstring. The veteran point guard believes he'll be able to take part in full-court practices within a few days, so a return before the end of December isn't out of the question. As the third-string option at his position, Calderon isn't a lock to be included in the team's rotation once healthy.

Calderon (hamstring) has been ruled out for 2-to-4 weeks, Mike Trudell of Spectrum SportsNet reports.
EDGE Analysis
An MRI confirmed the injury on Monday after Calderon suffered from a hamstring strain in Saturday's loss to Memphis. The veteran point guard started the past 10 games with D'Angelo Russell (knee) still out, but with both players now out for an extended time, the Lakers will rely on Jordan Clarkson and Marcelo Huertas to run the show. Who will start is still up in the air, as head coach Luke Walton has preferred to bring Clarkson off the bench, and whether he continues to do that or not, Clarkson will take on majority of the minutes at point guard in the end.

Calderon (hamstring) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Jazz, Mark Medina of the L.A. Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Calderon's right hamstring strain will keep him sidelined for at least Monday's contest after suffering the injury Saturday versus the Grizzlies. Expect Jordan Clarkson and Marcelo Huertas to split duties at point guard.

Calderon suffered a right hamstring strain in Saturday's game against the Grizzlies and will not return, Mark Medina of the L.A. Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Calderon was only able to play eight minutes before being forced from Saturday's contest. The extent of his setback is not yet known, but with fellow point guard D'Angelo Russell (knee) also out, Marcelo Huertas and Jordan Clarkson would be the top options to handle the point guard duties for the Lakers.

Calderon started at point guard and finished with 12 points (4-5 FG, 4-5 3Pt), six rebounds, four assists and two steals in 23 minutes in Tuesday's 111-109 win over the Thunder.
EDGE Analysis
With D'Angelo Russell (knee) sidelined, Calderon entered the top unit for the second time all season, and ended up logging more court time than anticipated while he was running hot from downtown. The Lakers have already ruled Russell out for the second half of the back-to-back set Wednesday against the Warriors, and while Calderon figures to benefit from another start, he'll be hard pressed to repeat Tuesday's performance. Unless he gets off to another good start to the first half, Calderon could cede more playing time to Lou Williams and Jordan Clarkson.

Calderon will start at point guard for Tuesday's game against the Thunder, Lakers sideline reporter Mike Trudell reports.
EDGE Analysis
D'Angelo Russell has been ruled out for at least the next two games while dealing with a knee injury, so Calderon will get the first crack at replacing him in the starting lineup. He should see an increased role Tuesday, although it wouldn't be surprising to see guys like Jordan Clarkson and Lou Williams benefit even more from Russell's absence and play more minutes than Calderon off the bench.

Calderon will start Friday against the Spurs, Mike Trudell of Spectrum SportsNet reports.
EDGE Analysis
Calderon will fill in for D'Angelo Russell on Friday night, who was ruled out a few hours before tip due to knee soreness. The veteran Calderon has only played in five games this season, averaging eight minutes a contest, but could now find himself taking on a much bigger role should Russell miss an extended period of time. Jordan Clarkson, Lou Williams, and Marcelo Huertas could all see increased minutes off the bench Friday night as result of the injury.

Calderon (coach's decision) didn't play in Sunday's 119-108 win over the Suns.
EDGE Analysis
Calderon is now healthy after a left calf strain kept him out of the first two games of the season, but he isn't being viewed as a rotation option for coach Luke Walton. Instead, Walton appears content to lean on sixth man Jordan Clarkson and fellow reserve Lou Williams for any minutes at point guard behind starter D'Angelo Russell, resulting in Calderon failing to get off the bench for the third straight game. There's not much reason to roster Calderon any longer, even in very deep leagues.

Calderon (calf) saw just four minutes in Sunday's 113-96 loss to the Thunder, scoring no points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt) while turning the ball over once.
EDGE Analysis
Calderon wasn't reported to be dealing with any restrictions heading into his first game of the season, so the low minutes total won't necessarily be out of the ordinary now that he's healthy. With D'Angelo Russell logging big minutes in a starting role at point guard and sixth man Jordan Clarkson often functioning as his de facto backup, there will be little time left over for Calderon and Marcelo Huertas to fill at the position.

Head coach Luke Walton expects Calderon (calf) to make his season debut in Sunday's matchup with the Thunder, Mike Trudell of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Calderon missed the first two games of the season as he was dealing with a left calf stain. It is still unclear how the veteran point guard will fit in the rotation. Starting point guard D'Angelo Russell figures to continue seeing a high volume of minutes running the show, and sixth man Jordan Clarkson can handle duties running the offense in a reserve role. Minutes may be hard to come by early on for Calderon.
