Wall (abdomen) was notified that he'll be waived by the Rockets on Thursday, Chris Haynes of Turner Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wall got traded from the Clippers to the Rockets in a three-team deal before the NBA's trade deadline. The veteran point guard will soon become a free agent if he passes through the league's waivers unclaimed. Expect Wall to receive interest from plenty of contending teams seeking experienced backcourt depth.

The Rockets acquired Wall (abdomen), Danny Green and a 2023 first-round pick swap Thursday in a three-team deal that sent Eric Gordon and three second-round picks to the Clippers and Luke Kennard to the Grizzlies, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Though Wall has now been shipped to Houston for the second time in his career, Mark Berman of Fox 26 Houston reports that the veteran point guard is expected to be bought out of his contract before ever donning a Rockets uniform. Wall, who is recovering from an abdominal strain that has kept him sidelined since mid-January, averaged 11.4 points, 5.2 assists and 2.7 rebounds over 22.2 minutes in his 34 appearances for the Clippers this season. When healthy, Wall should attract plenty of interest from contending teams looking to add an experienced point guard to its bench.

Head coach Ty Lue relayed Tuesday that Wall (abdomen) remains without a specific target date to retake the floor, Andrew Greif of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lue noted that Wall is getting closer to rejoining the action, but his timetable remains rather loose regarding when he will gain clearance. Wall has already been ruled out for Tuesday's game versus the Bulls, and it doesn't sound like his rejoining the action is particularly imminent, so fantasy managers shouldn't hold their collective breaths for a return until more optimistic news surfaces.

Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue said Sunday that Wall has been diagnosed with an abdominal strain and will be re-evaluated in two weeks, Law Murray of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wall miss nine games during the upcoming two-week stretch, and likely additional time beyond that given that he'll presumably need some ramp-up time even if his re-evaluation at the end of the month brings favorable news. While Wall is sidelined, Lue confirmed that Reggie Jackson -- who didn't play in either of the last two games -- will re-enter the Clippers' rotation as the backup to newly installed starting point guard Terance Mann, per Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.com.

Wall (abdomen) won't be available for Sunday's game against the Rockets, Law Murray of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Wall sidelined, the Clippers will most likely reopen a spot in the rotation for Reggie Jackson as the backup point guard behind Terance Mann. Before experiencing abdominal soreness, Wall had suited up in each of the Clippers' last four games and averaged 10.0 points, 5.3 assists and 3.3 rebounds in 23.0 minutes per contest.

Wall is doubtful for Sunday's game against the Rockets due to abdominal soreness, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wall popped up on Sunday's injury report with abdominal soreness, and he is trending toward sitting out with an issue he has not dealt with this season. If he can't go Sunday, Reggie Jackson would likely rejoin the rotation and serve as the backup point guard to Terance Mann.

Wall ended Friday's 115-103 loss to the Nuggets with 16 points (6-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, four assists and one steal across 29 minutes.
EDGE Analysis
Reggie Jackson (Achilles) didn't take the floor in Friday's loss, allowing extra time for Wall. Wall's long-awaited return to action has been a mixed bag. His stat lines have been inconsistent, partially due to fluctuations in playing time. The veteran hasn't seen more than 29 minutes on the court this season.

Wall accumulated five points (2-11 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds and four assists across 15 minutes during Tuesday's 113-101 victory over the Mavericks.
EDGE Analysis
Wall was held to just 15 minutes Tuesday, struggling from the field and committing two turnovers. Over his past two appearances, the backup point guard has totaled just 10 points (4-19 FG) in 37 minutes. The Clippers continue to shuffle their lineups due to numerous injuries and veteran rest days, but Wall has failed to consistently produce despite a regular role. Reggie Jackson's recent struggles Wall a little wiggle room to work out his own issues, but the Clippers may have to look elsewhere if both of their point guards continue at their current paces.

Wall will miss Thursday's game against Denver for Injury management reasons, Andrew Greif of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wall will sit out the first leg of a back-to-back set for rest purposes. He will likely be back for the tail end of the set, in which Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are both rest candidates. Reggie Jackson should handle the brunt of the point guard minutes while Terance Mann should see extended run off the bench Thursday.

Wall (rest/ankle) won't play Tuesday against the Raptors, Andrew Greif of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wall missed Friday's game with a right ankle sprain, but he returned to action Monday, posting 16 points, five rebounds and five assists in 26 minutes off the bench. His absence for the second half of the Clippers' back-to-back set Tuesday is expected to be precautionary, so as of now, it's safe to assume the veteran point guard will be back in action Thursday against the Celtics.
