Neal will draw his second start of the season Wednesday, David Devall CSN Mid-Atlantic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Neal will have an opportunity to start against his former team Wednesday with Bradley Beal still sidelined. Garrett Temple, who was originally expected to start, will return to the bench. Neal will look to take advantage of his extra workload.

Neal scored a season-high 24 points (9-14 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 3-5 FT) with two rebounds and a steal through 31 minutes in a 112-95 loss to the Grizzlies on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Neal's 24-point outburst was well-timed; the 31-year-old had shot 33.3 percent from the field over his previous three games. A capable sixth man, Neal should continue to be a fixture in coach Randy Wittman's second unit.

Neal registered seven points (2-11 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and two rebounds across 26 minutes in Wednesday's 109-103 loss to the Rockets.
EDGE Analysis
Neal might have begun to generate some momentum in the fantasy community after going off for 12, 18, and 21 points over his last three games, but thanks to his horrid showing from the field Wednesday, enthusiasm for the veteran guard should probably now be tempered. While he's still likely to see plenty of playing time as the Wizards' sixth man, Neal's a fairly one-dimensional player, as he's only averaging 2.2 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 0.5 steals to go with his usually serviceable scoring production.

Neal (groin) exploded for 21 points (9-12 FG, 3-4 3Pt), four assists, two rebounds, and two steals in 36 minutes in Monday's 114-103 win against the Heat.
EDGE Analysis
Neal was questionable heading into Monday's game, but he apparently was more than fine to put up a strong performance. He isn't likely going to shoot 75 percent from the field on most days, but that doesn't change the fact that he's actually been pretty efficient from the field this year (48 percent). He's getting over 20 minutes off the bench, and could potentially produce enough points and threes to be of use in deeper formats.

Neal (groin) is considered questionable for Monday's game against the Heat, https://twitter.com/jorgeccastillo/status/673982204309954560>Jorge Castillo of the Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Neal missed a pair of games at the end of last month with a minor groin issue, but he's played in each of the last three contests, including logging 34 minutes and scoring 18 points against the Mavs on Sunday. His appearance on the injury list suggests he likely tweaked the groin Sunday, and at this point it's unclear whether he'll be able to go on the second night of a back-to-back.

Neal notched 18 points (8-14 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 0-1 FT), three rebounds, and three assists in 34 minutes during the Wizards' 116-104 loss versus the Mavericks on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
The 34 minutes were a season-high, with his previous high being 29 minutes on Nov. 24. The Wizards were depleted by injuries and missing Marcin Gortat (personal), but Neal can provide the occasional spark off the bench, especially on offense. John Wall suffered a leg injury late in Sunday's game, but x-rays were negative, and there is a chance Wall is ready for Monday's game versus the Heat. In the event that Wall misses Monday's game, Neal might not necessarily draw the start, as Ramon Sessions could get the call as well. Still, if Wall does miss a game or two, Neal would likely see a slight uptick in value.

Neal (groin) is active for Wednesday's game against the Lakers.
EDGE Analysis
A true game-time call, Neal has been given the green light by the team's medical staff after testing out his groin injury during pregame warmups. The veteran missed the last two games and should return to his usual role off the bench.

Neal (groin) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Lakers, J. Michael of CSN Washington reports.
EDGE Analysis
Neal did not make the trip to Cleveland for Tuesday's game, but it looks as though he has a legitimate chance to play Wednesday after sitting out the last two games with a groin strain. Neal will likely be evaluated after warmups and could end up a true game-time call.

Neal (groin) did not travel with the Wizards to Cleveland for Tuesday's game, Jorge Castillo of the Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Neal will miss a second straight game after sitting out Saturday against Toronto and missing practice Monday. The veteran will cede minutes to Ramon Session and Garrett Temple on Tuesday, and at this point it's unclear whether he'll be available for Tuesday's game back home against the Lakers.

Neal (groin) was unable to practice Monday, J. Michael of CSN Mid-Atlantic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Neal sat out Saturday's game against the Raptors with a groin injury and could sit out yet again Tuesday in Cleveland. If he does sit, Ramon Sessions and Garrett Temple will seemingly be in store for added playing time.
