Williams has been released by the Pelicans upon the expiration of his second 10-day contract, Darrell J. Williams of the New Orleans Advocate reports. The Pelicans decided to use their final roster spot to sign Toney Douglas, as opposed to keeping Williams around for the remainder of the season. Williams is averaging just 2.8 points and 0.9 assists over nine minutes per game this season.

Williams will sign another 10-day contract with the Pelicans. Williams signed his first 10-day contract at the beginning of the month, averaging 4.0 points and 11.0 minutes per game in three contests in that span. After the expiration of his second 10-day deal, the Pelicans will either have to release him or sign him for the remainder of the season.

Williams will sign a 10-day contract with the Pelicans, the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports. Williams spent time with the Jazz earlier this season, appearing five games over the course of two 10-day contracts. He'll provide depth in the backcourt and take the roster spot of Justin Hamilton, who the team is expected to waive after acquiring him from Miami at the deadline.

Williams was waived by the Hornets on Tuesday, Aaron Falk of the Salt Lake Tribune reports. The Hornets swapped Gary Neal and a second-rounder for Mo Williams and Troy Daniels on Tuesday, meaning a roster spot needed to be opened up. Williams, who was on a 10-day deal, is the casualty, and he'll likely return to the D-League. Williams did not appear in a game with the Hornets after making five appearances for the Jazz earlier in the season.

Williams will be let go by the Jazz after the completion of Monday's game against the Celtics, making him a free agent, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports. Williams was given back-to-back 10-day contracts with the Jazz but ultimately wasn't able to prove his worth. He'll head back into free agency after appearing in five games four Utah and only averaging 5.8 minutes over those contests.

Williams registered 10 points (3-4 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), one rebound, and three assists during his 13 minutes off the bench against the Cavaliers on Wednesday. Williams is currently on his second 10-day contract with the Jazz and has been given four opportunities on the court to display his efforts. Wednesday's outing was his best thus far and could certainly earn him some playing time against the Bucks on Thursday. That being said, his value won't likely be vaulted to the point where he's worth the addition in most leagues, even if the Jazz lock him up for the rest of the season.

Williams was signed to a second 10-day contract with the Jazz on Saturday. Williams has played in three games for the Jazz and is averaging 2.7 points and 0.7 rebounds over 8.7 minutes on the court. He most notably had a disappointing three-point outing against the Rockets on Jan. 10 where he was afforded 21 minutes of playing time. Even if the Jazz decide to lock up Williams long term, it would be surprising if the 25-year-old amounted to more than emergency depth off the bench.

Williams finished with five points (2-2 FG, 1-1 3Pt) in two minutes Wednesday against the Bulls. Williams was brought in Tuesday, on a 10-day contract. He hasd yet to play in the NBA this year until he was given two minutes in Wednesday's blow out win of the Chicago Bulls. Williams was signed to provide depth and is not likely to see much playing time. The fact that the Jazz were up so much on the Bulls is probably why he played at all.

Williams is expected to sign a 10-day deal with the Jazz, Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports reports. The current Santa Cruz Warriors guard is in Salt Lake City taking a physical Tuesday, so if he passes that he'll likely join the Jazz immediately. The former Duke standout has appeared in 16 D-League games this season, averaging 21.3 points, 7.8 assists and 4.1 rebounds. He'll primarily provide perimeter depth and isn't likely to be a significant fantasy contributor.
