West (knee) saw his status for Friday's matchup against the Magic upgraded to probable Thursday evening, Anthony Slater of The Athletic Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
West was sidelined for the Warriors' victory over the Lakers on Wednesday due to knee soreness. However, he looks on track to resume his role as frontcourt depth Friday assuming he avoids any setbacks.

West (knee) is questionable to play against Orlando on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
West missed Wednesday's game due to knee soreness. If he's unable to play Friday, Jordan Bell will likely see a slight increase in playing time against Orlando.

West will be sidelined for Wednesday's game against the Lakers due to left lateral knee soreness.
EDGE Analysis
This is the first news of West dealing with knee soreness, so it's possible he sustained the injury during Monday's loss to the Kings. While he's sidelined, Jordan Bell, Kevon Looney and Omri Casspi are all candidates to see additional run.

West (rest) will return to the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Timberwolves, Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
West received the night off Monday against the Heat for rest, but as expected, he'll be active and available to play Wednesday. Look for him to slot into his normal role off the bench, though he could pick some additional playing time with Kevin Durant (thigh) sitting out. That said, West will still likely struggle to post any fantasy worthy numbers.

West will sit out Monday's game against the Heat for rest.
EDGE Analysis
West has played in every game so far this season, so coach Steve Kerr simply wants to give his 37-year-old veteran the night off to rest his legs. That being said, West has averaged just 11.4 minutes so far this season, so his absence shouldn't have a drastic impact on the regular rotation. If anything, Jordan Bell could pick up a few extra minutes off the bench in the frontcourt. Look for West to rejoin the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Timberwolves.

West scored 16 points (8-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt) while adding four rebounds, an assist, a steal and a block in 15 minutes off the bench during Friday's 120-117 win over the Wizards.
EDGE Analysis
Draymond Green was ejected from the game just before halftime after a scuffle with Bradley Beal, but West stepped up in his absence with his best performance on the young season. Barring an injury ahead of him in the frontcourt rotation, though, the 37-year-old won't see the consistent minutes he would need to post numbers even close to this on a regular basis.

West totaled eight points (4-7 FG), seven rebounds, three assists and one block across 13 minutes in Friday's 117-106 preseason win over the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran big man is back with the Warriors on a one-year deal despite having fulfilled his goal of a championship last season. He saw no more than Friday's 13 minutes in any one preseason game and appears likely to see about the same allotment of 12.6 minutes he logged last season as Draymond Green's (back) primary backup at the four.

West and the Warriors have agreed to a one-year deal, David Aldridge of NBA.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The one-year deal will reportedly be his last with the Warriors, and likely in the league. After 12 seasons in New Orleans and Indiana, West ventured to San Antonio in 2015 in pursuit of a championship. He came up short, but subsequently headed to Golden State the following year and succeeded in his quest. Thus, it was not going to be surprising if the 36-year-old opted to retire. However, he will remain with the Warriors, where he averaged 4.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 0.6 steals, and 0.7 blocks across 12.6 minutes per game. Expect him to see a similar workload with the club in the upcoming season.

West ended up with a season-high 15 points (7-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt) with five assists, four rebounds and two blocked shots over 22 minutes in Wednesday's 110-98 win against the Spurs.
EDGE Analysis
West entered averaging 4.8 points per game over his past 10 outings, which was right around his season production. The 15-point outing was his most productive since April 8, 2016 when he went for 17 points as a member of the Spurs.

West totaled eight points (3-8 FG, 2-2 FT, three rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block over 15 minutes in Saturday's 107-85 loss to the Spurs.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran maximized his time on the court, as his full stat line represented the first time West had checked off as many categories in six March games. West's minutes remain firmly in the teens on a nightly basis and he provides serviceable scoring, rebound and assist numbers relative to playing time. He remains an option only in deep formats due to the ceiling on his production.
