The 12-year veteran decided to withdraw so that he could focus on preparation for his season with the Warriors. Joseph hasn't been on a playoff team since the 2018-19 season with the Indiana Pacers. So, he could be taking this season very seriously since the Warriors will have championship hopes with their core still in tact this year.
