Fernando will come off the bench for Wednesday's Play-In Tournament game against the Bulls, Lauren L. Williams of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fernando drew the start in Game 82 of the regular season but he'll retreat to the second unit with Clint Capela (rest) back in action. While it's assumed Atlanta will trim down their rotation, Fernando should see upwards of 20 minutes Wednesday.

Fernando contributed 12 points (3-5 FG, 6-6 FT), two rebounds and one assist over 21 minutes during Sunday's 157-115 loss to Indiana.
EDGE Analysis
Fernando got the starting nod with Clint Capela (rest) sitting out the regular-season finale, ending as one of four Atlanta starters and five players with a double-digit point total in a losing effort. Fernando started his second game of the season Sunday, his first that ended with 10 or more points. He rounds out the regular season by posting 11 double-digit scoring outings.

Fernando will start Sunday's game against the Pacers, Dustin Dopirak of The Indianapolis Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Clint Capela (rest) sitting out the regular-season finale, Fernando will draw a spot start. In his only start this season (Feb. 14 versus Charlotte), Fernando posted six points, 12 rebounds, an assist and a block in 26 minutes.

Fernando posted 25 points (11-14 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds, one assist and one block over 26 minutes during Saturday's 132-91 victory over the Hornets.
EDGE Analysis
Fernando reached a new career-high scoring mark in this one, and the big man is certainly making the most of the opportunity with Onyeka Okongwu (toe) sidelined. However, this was a one-game outlier, and he's not expected to hover around the 20-point plateau -- let alone the 10-point mark -- off the bench going forward, as he remains a backup with little shot at a starting role any time soon.

Fernando had six points (3-5 FG), 11 rebounds, two assists, three blocks and two steals across 22 minutes during Sunday's 116-103 loss to the Pelicans.
EDGE Analysis
Fernando is not a player known for making a significant impact off the bench in fantasy formats, and he's probably on the wire in most leagues. Still, he certainly made his presence felt in this one, recording at least two tallies in every one of the five major categories while grabbing 11 boards -- the third time he pulled down double-digit boards across his last 10 games. His recent performances are worth monitoring, but he profiles as a streaming alternative for fantasy owners with depth issues at the center position in a best-case scenario, at least until Onyeka Okongwu (toe) returns to action.

Fernando closed with one point (0-1 FG, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds and two steals over 21 minutes during Friday's 99-92 victory over Memphis.
EDGE Analysis
Fernando played 21 minutes off the bench, yet failed to come up with a single point. Despite playing a consistent role behind Clint Capela, Fernando has been unable to turn minutes into production. He has been outside the top 200 over the past month, meaning only those in deeper formats should consider him a viable asset.

Fernando will return to a reserve role in Friday's game versus the Raptors, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fernando started at center in the Hawks' previous game with Clint Capela (adductor) sidelined. However, the latter is slated to return to the starting lineup, thus resulting in Fernando moving back to his usual role off the bench.

Fernando is in the starting lineup for Wednesday's matchup with Charlotte, Sam Perley of the Hornets' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
With both Clint Capela (adductor) and Onyeka Okongwu (toe) sidelined, Fernando will be thrust into the starting lineup and should get all the run he can handle. He has some upside as a shot-blocker, so Fernando could be someone to think about streaming in deep leagues. Joining him in the first unit Wednesday evening will be Trae Young, Dejounte Murray, Saddiq Bey and Jalen Johnson.

Fernando (illness) is questionable for Monday's game against Chicago.
EDGE Analysis
Fernando is at risk of missing his second consecutive game due to an illness. Clint Capela (groin) has already been ruled out for Monday's contest, which would leave Onyeka Okongwu as the lone traditional center available if Fernando is unable to suit up.
