Snider is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports. Snider typically starts against right-handed pitchers, but the Orioles will give David Lough a rare start in left field for the final game of the first half.

Snider is out of the lineup Thursday against the Rangers, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports. Snider normally starts against right-handed pitching and rests against southpaws, but he will sit Thursday with righty Yovani Gallardo on the mound for the Rangers. While it doesn't necessarily indicate a switch in the outfield, it's definitely something worth monitoring over the next few days.

Snider is out of the lineup Friday, MLB.com's Britt Ghiroli reports. Snider had started five games in a row, notching three doubles and a home run over that span, so his spot as the primary left fielder appears to be safe, despite Friday's day off. David Lough will get the start in left field against the Blue Jays and hit ninth.

Snider is out of the lineup Saturday, MASN's Roch Kubatko reports. He has been playing about every other day lately, and is not offering much from a fantasy perspective. Nolan Reimold will get the start in left field Saturday.

Snider is not in the lineup against Jays right-hander Aaron Sanchez, MASN's Roch Kubatko reports. David Lough is starting in left field while Alejandro de Aza is in right, while the Orioles have not provided a reason for Snider's absence. He's hitting .270/.341/.378 for the season, but was surprisingly in the starting lineup against lefty Mark Buehrle on Tuesday night.

Snider is out of the lineup Wednesday against the White Sox, Dan Connolly of the Baltimore Sun reports. Snider has now been relegated to the bench for four of the past five contests, as it appears the club has gone in favor of starting Delmon Young in right field and Jimmy Paredes as the DH. That is the case again Wednesday, and could continue to be a theme moving forward.

Snider is not in the lineup Monday against the White Sox, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports. Snider will receive his second consecutive day off as this one will come against the right-handed Hector Noesi. There's no news of any ailments or issues with the lefty, so it appears it's just a regular day off for Snider as Delmon Young will slot in as the right fielder in his stead with Jimmy Paredes taking the DH duties.

Snider will not be in the lineup Sunday against the Red Sox, Rich Dubroff of CSN Baltimore reports. With southpaw Wade Miley starting for the Red Sox, manager Buck Showalter will leave two of his left-handed hitting outfielders in Snider and Alejandro De Aza out of the lineup, replacing them with the right-handed Delmon Young and Steve Pearce, respectively. Snider has actually fared better against left-handers in his career and has succeeded in his limited chances this season (5-for-10 with an RBI), so it's conceivable that he could soon begin to earn Showalter's trust as an even more regular option in the lineup.

Snider went 1-for-3 with a run scored in Monday's loss to Boston. He tripled and scored the O's only run of the day Monday, working from the fifth spot in the order against Boston right-hander Justin Masterson. Snider is hitting .306/.405/.472 through 11 games with his new club, and he appears to be a nice offseason addition for Baltimore as the replacement for Nick Markakis in right field.

Snider is in the lineup for Friday's game against the Blue Jays. There was some talk this spring of Snider staying in the lineup against southpaws, and he'll slot into the No. 7 spot for Baltimore's first matchup with a lefty this season. It thus appears Snider will have a shot to lock down the everyday role, but he'll need to hold his own against lefties.
