Marte went 2-for-4 with a stolen base in Monday's loss to the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran outfielder continues to turn things around after a rough 2023. Marte has six multi-hit performances in the last 11 games, going 15-for-48 (.313) over that stretch to boost his slash line on the season to .286/.330/.451 with four homers, six steals, 12 RBI and 16 runs through 22 contests. The 35-year-old hasn't had a 20-homer campaign since 2019, his final year with the Pirates, but if he can stay healthy he's well on his way to reaching that mark again.

Marte went 2-for-5 with a homer run, a stolen base, two runs scored and four RBI in Saturday's 6-4 win over the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran outfielder supplied the big blow for the Mets with a three-run shot in the sixth inning off Ryan Brasier. Marte has seven multi-hit performances in the last 13 games, and the hot streak has boosted his slash line on the season to .282/.330/.459 with four homers, five steals, 12 RBI and 16 runs.

Marte went 2-for-5 with a double, two runs scored, two RBI and a stolen base in Friday's win over the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran outfielder has caught fire the last couple weeks. Over the last 12 games, Marte is slashing .315/.362/.463 with two homers, four steals, seven RBI and 11 runs, and he seems to be entrenched once again as the Mets' No. 2 hitter. After a down 2023 due to lingering health issues, the 35-year-old appears primed for a bounce-back campaign.

Marte went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's win over the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran outfielder took Bailey Falter deep in the third inning to get the Mets on the board. Marte has been healthy to begin the season and appears to be back in 20-20 form, slashing .267/.321/.413 through 18 games with three homers, three steals, six RBI and 12 runs.

Marte went 2-for-5 with a walk, two runs scored and a stolen base in Thursday's win over Atlanta.
EDGE Analysis
After a rough 2023 in which he never seemed to be 100 percent healthy, Marte has been in much better form to begin the current campaign. The 35-year-old is slashing .271/.340/.354 through 12 games with one homer, three steals, three RBI and eight runs, and he's been moved up to the second spot in the lineup the last couple games. Marte's fantasy outlook would be much improved if he can stick at the top of the order.

Marte went 1-for-3 with a home run during Friday's 3-1 loss to Milwaukee.
EDGE Analysis
Marte was the lone bright spot in a Mets lineup that otherwise went hitless Friday and produced just two additional baserunners. Expectations for the 35-year-old outfielder are low after he posted a .625 OPS last season, but hitting a home run off Freddy Peralta could be enough to spark an early-season hot streak.

Marte went 0-for-2 in Wednesday's Grapefruit League game against the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
Getting the start in right field and batting fifth, Marte flied out to center field in the second inning before popping out to second base in the fourth. The Mets were hoping the 35-year-old outfielder would return to form after a healthy offseason, but so far this spring Marte is batting a worrying .091 (2-for-22) with zero extra-base hits or steals and a 1:3 BB:K. He's still locked into the starting role in right field and has time yet in camp to turn things around, but after he posted a career-worst .248 batting average and .625 OPS in 2023, expectations for Marte have never been lower.

Marte (groin) will make his Grapefruit League debut Wednesday, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
Marte has struggled to stay healthy since undergoing double groin surgery last offseason, but he played in the Dominican Winter League this offseason and reported to spring camp healthy. The veteran outfielder played just 86 games in 2023 and slashed a lackluster 248/.301/.324.

Marte reported to camp fully healthy and appears to have put last season's groin issues behind him, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
A stint in the Dominican Winter League offered further proof that the 35-year-old outfielder is healthy again, as he stole two bases in 11 postseason games for Leones del Escogido while posting a .388 OBP. Marte underwent core muscle surgery in November 2022 and never seemed to fully bounce back, eventually suiting up for only 86 games in 2023 with a career-worst .248/.301/.324 slash line. He's never been an iron man -- Marte's topped 600 plate appearances only twice in his career, and not since 2018 -- but if he feels like himself again, he might produce something closer to the .301/.365/.463 line he delivered in 2021-22 while averaging 516 PAs.

Marte (groin) is making his Dominican Winter League debut Wednesday with Leones del Escogido, Michael Mayer of MetsmerizedOnline.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Marte has been practicing with the club and is now in its lineup for the first time, batting second and playing right field. It will be the 35-year-old's first game action since Aug. 5, as his season ended prematurely due to a nagging right groin injury. Marte was considered healthy heading into the offseason, but playing some winter ball should provide him and the Mets with some peace of mind heading into spring training, assuming he has no setbacks. He was limited to only 86 games in 2023, producing a career-low .625 OPS.
