Feldman has seemingly fallen out of the bullpen rotation, making just two appearances through the team's nine September games.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran right-hander seemed to be carving out a nice niche for himself in late August, allowing just two earned runs while striking out eight over his final 7.2 innings of the month. However, Feldman was used sparingly in early September, and crushed for four runs on three hits, including two home runs, in his last appearance on September 9. Toronto is spiraling downward in the standings, and it's unlikely Feldman will be relied on much to help the situation.

Feldman has allowed two runs over his last four appearances (six innings), earning himself a pair of wins in the process.
EDGE Analysis
Overall, the Feldman holds a 7.94 ERA since joining the Jays at the beginning of August. Most of that damage was done in a pair of consecutive outings earlier in the month, but the 33-year-old has shown improvement since. Feldman still has an ugly 2.03 WHIP, but makes up for it somewhat with a fine 12:3 K:BB through 11.1 innings as a Jay.

Since joining the Blue Jays, Feldman is 1-1 with a 9.72 ERA and 10 strikeouts over six relief appearances (8.1 innings).
EDGE Analysis
Feldman picked up the win against the Yankees on Aug. 16 by allowing just one run on three hits over three innings. Outside of that impressive five-strikeout performance, the 12th-year veteran has been miserable since being acquired at the beginning of the month. With 183 career starts to his name, Feldman is best suited for long relief work when disaster strikes a starting pitcher in the early innings -- which doesn't happen often with the Jays sporting one of the best rotations in the majors this season. The team already uses a six-man rotation, so the right-hander isn't even in the mix for a spot start. Feldman has very little, if any, fantasy value in most leagues.

Feldman pitched a scoreless seventh inning in Friday's one-run victory over the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
Feldman's second appearance for the Jays was much better than his first. After not recording an out August 1 against Houston, he was able to set down the Royals top three hitters in order Friday. It's highly unlikely that Feldman will make much of an impact with his new team, but Toronto's bullpen has been in flux much of the season, so anyone who can throw clean innings will get their fair share of work.

Feldman was traded to the Blue Jays on Monday, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's not a splashy acquisition, but Feldman has pitched well this season (2.90 ERA, 1.24 WHIP), and will give the Blue Jays the option of skipping Aaron Sanchez down the stretch. Feldman figures to join the bullpen initially, replacing Jesse Chavez in a long-relief role.

Feldman left Saturday's game after apparently rolling his ankle on the mound, the San Francisco Chronicle's Susan Slusser reports.
EDGE Analysis
He had tossed 3.2 scoreless innings of relief against the A's before coming out after a visit from the trainer. Chris Devenski replaced him in the top of the ninth inning. Feldman has been operating in a swingman role for the Astros of late, and could see some starts in the second half if he is healthy. His status will be updated when the team officially comments on the exact nature of the injury.

Feldman is not expected to make another start before the All-Star break, the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander's strong showing against the Angels last week led manager A.J. Hinch to contemplate closing out the first half with with a six-man rotation, but the rotation will likely remain on schedule with Feldman needed as insurance out of the bullpen. Doug Fister, Collin McHugh, Lance McCullers and Dallas Keuchel are expected start the Astros' final four games before the break (in that order), but Feldman seems to be back in the conversation for starts over the final two and a half months.

Feldman's solid outing Tuesday may have bought him another opportunity in the Astros' rotation, the Houston Chronicle's Jake Kaplan reports. "I'll think about it," manager A.J. Hinch said Wednesday of the idea of giving Feldman more starts. "We have 11 games counting today between now and the break and I think he's done everything to warrant that consideration."
EDGE Analysis
It is not clear who the Astros would bump from the rotation, or if they would just give Feldman a chance via a six-man rotation heading into the All-Star break. He has a 3.65 ERA and 15 strikeouts in 24.2 innings as a starter this year, and his fantasy upside would be limited due to the lack of strikeouts if he found his way back into a rotation spot.

Feldman (5-3) picked up the win Tuesday over the Angels as he allowed just one unearned run on three hits with two strikeouts over five innings.
EDGE Analysis
Feldman has been pitching out of the bullpen since May, so he was only able to go 65 pitches despite the fact that he cruised through the Angels' lineup. Lance McCullers was supposed to take this start but missed it due to a blister; if it heals up quickly as expected, Feldman will likely head back to the bullpen, where he has a 1.85 ERA and 9.5 K/BB in 24.1 innings this season.

Feldman will make a spot start Tuesday against the Angels, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com rpeorts.
EDGE Analysis
Lance McCullers is currently dealing with a blister, but he isn't expected to miss more than one start at this time. As such, expect Feldman to return to the bullpen shortly, where he has been pitching much better (1.85 ERA, 9.5 K/BB in 24.1 relief innings; 4.58 ERA, 1.2 K/BB in 19.2 innings as starter).
