Feldman (knee) pitched a simulated game Wednesday without any setbacks and is likely to skip a rehab assignment, the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Feldman will instead takes some pitcher fielding practice over the weekend, and if all goes well he could be back ahead of schedule. Manager Bryan Price said that Feldman hasn't lost arm strength since going on the DL.

Feldman (knee) tossed a 25-pitch bullpen session Saturday, Zach Buchanan of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Feldman's bullpen session was described as "low intensity", but the veteran pitcher is expected to throw a more aggressive session in the coming days. Feldman's arm is reportedly in good shape at the moment and the Reds are hoping that the 34-year-old won't require a rehab assignment. He remains without a firm return date, but appears to be progressing well.

Feldman (knee) kicked off a throwing program Tuesday and could progress to a bullpen session in the coming days, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Feldman landed on the 10-day disabled list July 18, but looks to have avoided a significant setback after he was diagnosed with right knee inflammation rather than any structural damage following a second opinion. It's uncertain whether or not Feldman will require a rehab assignment, so even if he resumes mound work by the end of the weekend, he's not a safe bet to return from the DL next week. Robert Stephenson has made the last two turns in the rotation for Feldman and would likely start again August 2 against the Pirates if Feldman isn't deemed ready to go by then.

Feldman had a second opinion on his knee inflammation, which confirmed that he will not need surgery, MLB.com's Mark Sheldon reports.
EDGE Analysis
Instead, the Reds will rely upon rest and rehab in bringing Feldman along. "At this point, it sounds as if we can go with a treatment-only approach, strengthen his quad, which will support and take some pressure off of his knee, and getting the pain under control," manager Bryan Price said.

Feldman (knee) was placed on the 10-day disabled list Tuesday, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Feldman's sore right knee likely contributed to his horrendous outing in Monday's loss to the Nationals, as he lasted one inning before being pulled after allowing five runs on five hits (including two home runs) and a walk. Since Feldman hasn't been diagnosed with any structural damage to the knee nor any sort of strain, he might not be looking at a lengthy absence, but the Reds will need a spot starter for at least one turn through the rotation. Feldman had previously been in line to make his next start Saturday against the Marlins, so it's likely that long man Asher Wojciechowski or a starter at Triple-A Louisville will take the hill for that contest.

Feldman (7-7) lasted just one inning Monday against the Nationals, serving up five earned runs on five hits and a walk.
EDGE Analysis
Feldman was rocked from the start, as Bryce Harper and Ryan Zimmerman made it 4-0 Washington in consecutive pitches. It also took the veteran hurler 33 pitches to escape the inning, with only 18 of those going for strikes. However, this performance could have been affected by an injury, as Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports that Feldman has a sore right knee and will likely require a trip to the disabled list. It's unclear how long he'll be out if he does land on the DL, but more information should come forth when a better diagnosis is revealed. Asher Wojciehowski, who tossed five innings in relief after Feldman's exit, seems like a logical candidate to step into the rotation if the need arises.

Feldman (7-6) gave up four runs on five hits and a walk while striking out six over five innings in Wednesday's 5-3 loss to the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
As is often the case at Coors Field, the veteran right-hander paid dearly for his mistakes as all four runs scored on a pair of two-run homers, including a 467-foot shot by opposing pitcher Jon Gray. It's the first time since his first start of the season that Feldman has been tagged for multiple home runs, and so far in 2017 he's been relatively untouched by the historic league-wide power display. If his 1.1 HR/9 begins to tick up in the second half, however, he could become a very volatile fantasy option.

Feldman (7-5) allowed no runs on two hits and two walks while striking out seven across seven innings to earn the win Friday against the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
Feldman took a no-hit bid into the sixth inning, and he easily coasted to his seventh victory of the season. He's posted four strong starts over his last five outings to lower his ERA from 4.52 to 3.78, and he's become a much-improved fantasy option. He'll make his next start Wednesday against the Rockies.

Feldman (6-5) tossed seven innings of two-run ball Sunday against the Nationals. He allowed seven hits, walked five and struck out two.
EDGE Analysis
Michael Taylor's two-run home run in the fourth inning was the only blemish on Feldman's line Sunday. The Reds have now won five of Feldman's last seven starts. Feldman is 4-1 in that span has given up 17 earned runs over 40.1 innings.

Feldman allowed two runs on six hits and one walk across six innings in a no-decision MOnday against the Rays. He struck out six.
EDGE Analysis
Feldman was sharp for the most part and made one mistake in the form of a solo home run to Steven Souza, with the second run on his ledger scoring on a home run allowed by the bullpen. He pitched into the seventh inning for just the second time in his last seven outings and reached six strikeouts for the third time in that same span. The veteran has struggled to string strong starts together on a consistent basis this season, but he has flashed the ability to effectively consume innings in the middle of the rotation and will look to build on this performance Sunday against the Nationals.
