The White Sox released Dolis on Sept. 8.
EDGE Analysis
Dolis had made 63 appearances out of the Toronto bullpen between the prior two seasons, but he never earned a call-up to the majors in 2022 after joining the White Sox in April on a minor-league deal. Before he was released, Dolis logged a 5.02 ERA and 1.35 WHIP over 28.2 innings at Triple-A Charlotte on the season.

Dolis cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Buffalo on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Dolis was unable to find a spot on another 40-man roster after he was designated for assignment Wednesday, and he'll remain in the Blue Jays' organization with the Triple-A club. The right-hander earned some saves early in 2021 but saw fewer high-leverage opportunities as the season progressed. If he performs well in the minors, Dolis may be in consideration to return to Toronto's bullpen later in the season.

The Blue Jays designated Dolis for assignment Wednesday, Kaitlyn McGrath of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dolis held some fantasy relevance earlier in 2021 when he notched three saves just over a month into the season, but he's slowly tumbled down the pecking order in the Toronto bullpen. The 33-year-old right-hander hadn't recorded a hold or a save since June 1, and after giving up at least one run in each of his last three appearances in a low-leverage role, Toronto elected to move him off the 40-man roster. The Blue Jays activated reliever Tim Mayza (elbow) to fill Dolis' spot in the bullpen.

Dolis (2-3) earned the win in relief Sunday against the Red Sox after tossing 1.1 scoreless innings, giving up a hit and fanning two.
EDGE Analysis
Dolis has been pitching lights out this season and has extended his run of scoreless appearances to nine outings, posting a 13:5 K:BB across 9.2 innings in that span. The veteran right-hander hasn't been working as the Blue Jays' closer for quite a while, but he remains a dependable late-inning arm. He owns a 2.70 ERA since the beginning of July.

The Blue Jays reinstated Dolis (finger) from the 10-day injured list Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Manager Charlie Montoyo stated Saturday that Dolis was ready to return to action, and he will indeed rejoin the bullpen for Sunday's series finale against the Rays. Numbness in his pitching hand was alarming at the time, but fortunately Dolis managed to avoid a significant elbow or forearm injury. Nick Allgeyer was optioned to Triple-A Buffalo in a corresponding move.

Manager Charlie Montoyo said Dolis (finger) is ready to be activated "any time," Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
The righty allowed one hit in a scoreless rehab inning with Triple-A Buffalo on Friday. The Blue Jays' depth-deprived bullpen could certainly benefit from getting Dolis back as soon as possible, so he figures to return early in the week, if not Sunday.

Dolis (finger) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Buffalo on Friday, Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dolis threw a successful 25-pitch bullpen Tuesday, and his rehab assignment could mark the final step in his recovery process. The right-hander has been on the injured list since June 17, so he could have a fairly brief rehab stint before he's cleared to return to Toronto's bullpen.

Dolis (finger) felt good after a 25-pitch bullpen Tuesday, Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
Barring any issues with his recovery Wednesday, the righty could be ready to begin what should be a short rehab assignment with Triple-A Buffalo. Despite struggling with a 5.14 ERA to this point in 2021, Dolis should continue to be a top, high-leverage option in Toronto's troubled bullpen.

Dolis (finger) completed a bullpen session Saturday but still experienced minor numbness in his right hand, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 33-year-old landed on the injured list Thursday with a strained right middle finger after experiencing numbness in his hand while pitching a day earlier, though the Blue Jays apparently aren't concerned it's a serious issue. Dolis seems likely to remain sidelined until he's able to pitch without the numbness issue.

Dolis was placed on the 10-day injured list with a right middle finger strain Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Dolis exited Wednesday's game against the Yankees due to right hand numbness, and he'll require at least 10 days to recover after he was diagnosed with a finger strain. It's not yet clear when the right-hander will be able to return to game action.
