Dodgers transferred RHP Jose Dominguez to the 60-day disabled list. This was done merely as a procedural move to clear a spot on the 40-man roster for Nick Buss who has his contract purchased on Saturday. The hard-throwing right-hander registered a 2.16 ERA, 1.68 WHIP and 4/3 K/BB ratio over 8 1/3 innings with the Dodgers this season before hitting the disabled list in late July with a strained quad.
