Danks could not get out of the third inning Sunday against the Twins, and he allowed seven runs (three earned) on eight hits in 2.1 innings of work to take his third loss of the season. On the plus side, he struck out three and did not walk a batter. He played in front of a patchwork defense that committed four errors in the game, but the defense can not be blamed for the grand slam he allowed. The White Sox are reeling lately, and it would not be a surprise to see them try to shake it up soon and replace Danks or Hector Noesi with Carlos Rodon.

Danks tossed his best game of the season on Sunday, allowing three runs on five hits, one walk and eight strikeouts over 6.0 innings against the Royals. The lefty was off to a shaky start to the season before posting back-to-back quality starts, although his ERA still sits at 5.64. Danks will look to keep this recent momentum going against the impotent Twins offense on Friday.

Danks' scheduled start against the Royals on Saturday has been postponed due to rain. No make-up date has been announced, so the White Sox may alter the rotation simply by moving all of the starters back a day. Friday's suspended game will resume in the ninth inning Sunday before the final game of the series begins, which likely rules out a doubleheader to close out the weekend.

Danks had his best start of the season Monday, taking a no-decision after allowing three runs in six innings against the Indians. The lefty has not had a good start to the season, allowing 11 runs in his three starts. After a rough 2014 in which he posted a 4.74 ERA and 1.44 WHIP, Danks will try to find his footing on the rubber this weekend against the Royals.

Danks struck out three and walked two while allowing four runs -- three earned -- on six hits over 4.2 innings in a losing effort Wednesday. Failing to get through five innings, Danks simply couldn't fool the Cleveland lineup in Wednesday's outing (five swinging strikes, 87 pitches). His contract figures to offer up a long leash as a member of the rotation on the south side of Chicago, and Danks will try to turn it around with a two-start week beginning Monday at home against the Tribe before an April 25 home start against Kansas City.

Danks gave up four runs on seven hits and a walk over 5.2 innings Thursday against Kansas City. He struck out just one batter. An ugly start to things for Danks, but that's no surprise -- he hasn't been anything remotely close to a legitimate fantasy asset since 2010. The fact that Danks has held down a rotation spot for the White Sox through these years of poor pitching is borderline unbelievable; most fantasy owners, on the other hand, have long since learned their lesson and abandoned him to the waiver wire, where he belongs in the vast majority of formats.

Danks will pitch in a simulated game Tuesday instead of making his scheduled start in a Cactus League game, CSN Chicago reports. There does not appear to be an injury at play. Rather, the team would like to give pitching prospect Tyler Danish a shot at more advanced batters. Danks remains on track to serve as the club's No. 4 starter to start the year.

Danks turned in six strong innings versus the Rays on Sunday afternoon, giving up two earned runs on two hits and three walks while striking out five en route to his 10th win of the season. Despite a mostly inconsistent campaign, Danks appears intent on putting up a strong finish to his 2014 season. Over his last three starts, the veteran lefty has allowed just four earned runs on 11 hits while recording 14 strikeouts across 18 innings. Danks is scheduled to be back on the mound Saturday versus the Royals.

Danks took a no-decision Monday, holding the Royals without a run in six innings of work. Danks did walk four in the outing, but was able to prevent any damage by allowing just two hits and striking out six. The lefty has pitched well since his disastrous start to the month, lowering his ERA back bellow five to 4.88. Danks' next start will come against the Rays this weekend.

Danks pitched six innings Tuesday, allowing four runs (two earned) on seven hits and one walk, while striking out three in the loss. Danks has simply not been getting it done of late, as he has allowed 11 runs (nine earned) on 18 hits and two walks in his last two starts. Actually, Danks has been erratic all season and now has a paltry 5.05 ERA, 1.49 WHIP and 115:65 K:BB in 174.2 innings this year. His next start is set for Monday on the road against the Royals.
