Phillies Sign Jake Elmore rotoballer.com Wed 6/23/21 12:14 AM

The Philadelphia Phillies have signed infielder Jake Elmore to a minor league deal. He has not appeared in an MLB game since 2019. During that season, Elmore batted .213/.245/.234 in 20 games. Elmore has never hit well during his time in the majors and that's unlikely going to change. This is mostly a depth signing and it's unlikely that Elmore even gets a chance to play in Philly. Fantasy managers can go ahead and continue to avoid Elmore going forward.

Said irrelevance extends to DFS.

Taillon has been on the IL since May 4th and was originally going to be shut down until at least June. Now Taillon won't even be eligible to return until July at the minimum. Taillon was a popular breakout pick this season after posting a 3.20 ERA in 191 innings pitched last year backed up by an 11.8% swinging strike rate. If you have[...]
