Chris Cotillo of MLB Daily Dish reports that Dan Wheeler has retired from Major League Baseball. The 36-year-old right-hander last appeared in the majors with the Indians during the 2012 season. He posted a career 3.98 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 555/194 K/BB ratio over 640 2/3 innings in his 13-year career with the Rays, Mets, Astros, Red Sox and Indians.
