Peacock (shoulder) will begin a rehab assignment with Double-A Corpus Christi on Wednesday, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Peacock landed on the 10-day injured list with shoulder discomfort in late June but was expected to be back for his first turn in the rotation following the All-Star break. He'll be on track to do that if Wednesday's outing goes well, lining up to start Monday against the Angels.

Peacock (shoulder) underwent an MRI that revealed inflammation, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Peacock, who said he's been fighting a sore shoulder over the last month, plans to play catch in "about a week" and is targeting a return to the rotation following the All-Star break. The right-hander has a 6.39 ERA over his last 25.1 innings (five starts).

Manager A.J. Hinch said Peacock (shoulder) is expected to make his first start out of the All-Star break, Jake Kaplan of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Peacock has apparently been pitching through a sore shoulder for a while, according to Hinch, so the Astros decided to give him some time off leading up to and during the All-Star break. As long as he is not dealing with anything worse than has been let on up to this point, Peacock should have a good chance to return when his manager expects.

Peacock was placed on the 10-day injured list Friday with right shoulder discomfort, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Peacock allowed six runs over three innings Thursday, so the shoulder discomfort could help explain some of his struggles. The severity of the injury is not clear, but the 31-year-old will get some built-in recovery time thanks to the All-Star break.

Peacock (6-6) took the loss against the Pirates on Thursday, giving up six earned runs on seven hits over three innings, striking out two and walking one as the Astros fell 10-0.
EDGE Analysis
Peacock didn't have it in this contest, as he served up long balls to Kevin Newman, Corey Dickerson and Josh Bell before getting chased from the contest after just three innings and 70 pitches. The right-hander sees his ERA jump from 3.62 to 4.13 through 85 innings ahead of his next start, which is scheduled for Tuesday against the Rockies at Coors Field.

Peacock (6-5) was hit with the loss after surrendering two runs on five hits while striking out 11 over six innings Friday against the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
Peacock threw the ball well throughout his outing, though he did give up a two-run blast in the third inning to Gary Sanchez. The 31-year-old right-hander continues to serve as a reliable starter within Houston's rotation, posting a 3.62 ERA and 1.10 WHIP with an 87:24 K:BB over 82 innings this season.

Peacock (6-4) allowed four runs on five hits and three walks across five innings Sunday, striking out five and taking the loss to Toronto.
EDGE Analysis
Things got ugly from the jump with Peacock allowing a pair of runs in the first inning, including a Rowdy Tellez homer. Over his last two outings, the 6-foot-1 right-hander has coughed up eight runs in 11.1 innings, raising his ERA from 3.20 to 3.67 in the process. Peacock will try to turn things around against a dangerous Yankees team in New York on Friday.

Peacock (6-3) picked up the win Tuesday, giving up four runs on seven hits and a walk over 6.1 innings while striking out four in a 10-8 victory over the Brewers.
EDGE Analysis
Christian Yelich and Travis Shaw both took Peacock deep, with the latter blast helping to chase the right-hander from the game, but Houston's offense backed him with four homers of its own. Peacock will take a 3.42 ERA and 71:21 K:BB through 71 innings into his next start Sunday, at home against the Blue Jays.

Peacock (5-3) was charged with the loss Wednesday against the Mariners after allowing two runs on four hits and two walks while striking out six through five innings of work.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander turned in another solid effort but just couldn't get the job done against the hot-hitting Mariners, who won this one 14-1. The bulk of Peacock's damage came in the fifth inning after he loaded the bases with a leadoff walk and back-to-back singles. Mallex Smith then took advantage with a two-run single to give the Mariners a 2-1 lead that lasted the rest of the way. Despite the loss, Peacock has allowed two runs or fewer in last six starts while striking out 41 batters and serving up just one homer in 34 innings. Overall, the 31-year-old owns a 3.20 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 67:20 K:BB. He'll look to get back into the win column with a matchup Tuesday against the Brewers.

Peacock didn't factor into the decision in Friday's 3-2 win over the A's, giving up two runs on five hits and three walks over six innings while striking out three.
EDGE Analysis
A two-run blast by Matt Chapman in the third inning was the only real blemish on Peacock's night, but the right-hander was actually headed for his third loss of the season before the Astros finally scored their first runs of the game in the top of the seventh. Peacock now has five quality starts on the year, including three in his last five trips to the mound, and he'll take a 3.17 ERA and 61:18 K:BB through 59.2 innings into his next outing Wednesday in Seattle.
