Parise (knee) skated Monday for the first time since suffering a sprained MCL, Brian Compton of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Parise has been out for almost two weeks at this point, but it appears he's making progress toward a return. The club is still tabbing the injury as a week-to-week ailment though, and Parise won't travel with the team for their two road games this week, so he still appears to be at least a week away.

Parise will not travel with the Wild on the team's upcoming four-game road trip, Michael Russo of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Parise has been given a week-to-week timetable, so it's not a huge surprise that he will skip the team's four-game road trip. With the news, the star winger's next chance to rejoin the club will come Nov. 21 against the Predators.

Parise's injury is officially being classified as a sprained MCL in his right knee and he will be evaluated on a week-by-week basis.
EDGE Analysis
Parise has been ruled out of Saturday's contest against the Lightning and it appears the team is taking a really hard look at the situation and wisely not jumping to conclusions regarding the severity of the star forward's injury. Look for Christoph Bertschy and Chris Porter to serve depth roles in Parise's absence, with wingers in Jason Zucker and Jason Pominville likely to earn top-six minutes.

Parise will miss the next couple of games, but is not expected to miss an extended amount of time, Ryan Shaver of KARE 11 reports.
EDGE Analysis
After waiting to hear the severity of his right knee injury, Parise and the Wild have received relatively positive news. Parise has already scored seven goals in his first 12 games, and the Wild can't afford to be without his production for too long.

Parise (knee) has been ruled out of Saturday's game against the Lightning, Chad Graff of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Parise, Minnesota's top offensive threat, exited Thursday's game on his first shift after getting checked from behind by Predators forward James Neal, resulting in a right knee injury. The Wild have slim pickings at the forward spot as Tyler Graovac (sports hernia) and Justin Fontaine (knee) are both out for an extended period of time with their respective ailments. Expect the Wild to explore all avenues to patch the forward lines as long as Parise is out.

EDGE Analysis
Praise was injured while being checked into the boards from behind. He was able to return for five more shifts, but was eventually forced from the game in the first period. It's not clear what type of setback Parise is dealing with, but he limped off the ice favoring his right leg after being hit. Expect an update on his status as more details become available.

One game after going without a point for the first time all year, Parise came back with his sixth goal of the season in Thursday's win over Columbus.
EDGE Analysis
That's a goal per game on average for the star winger so far, and a couple helpers mixed in too. With such a healthy start to this season -- in more ways than one -- Parise is offering the Wild as well as his fantasy owners some hope that he'll be able to bounce back to the 80-plus-point levels he enjoyed in New Jersey. If he plays around 80 games, a minimum of 60 points is practically guaranteed, and that floor combined with his upside makes Parise a very attractive fantasy asset.

Parise stayed hot Thursday, Scoring a power-play goal and assisting on Mikael Granlund's shorthanded goal against Arizona.
EDGE Analysis
Parise continues to dominate on the man advantage with his third straight game with a power-play goal. The puck just has a way of finding his stick. He has six points in three games this season, leading Minnesota to an undefeated start. The Wild have scored four goals per game to open the year and shouldn't have trouble keeping that pace Friday against the Kings.

Parise's hat trick helps erase a 4-1 deficit in Thursday's Opening Night win against Colorado.
EDGE Analysis
Parise truly put the Wild on his back, collecting his third career hat trick to fuel Minnesota's come-from-behind win on the road. He ended Semyon Varlamov's shutout bid in the second period on a wrist shot. His second goal came at the doorstep on a rebound and he scored the game-winning goal on the power play to complete the trick. Parise salvaged what looked like a sure loss and bailed out his teammates after coming out flat. If he shows this will all season, Parise will surely exceed expectations.
