Weber (upper body) will sit out Wednesday's game against the Avalanche, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Speculation arose earlier on game day that Weber could return after he took line rushes during practice, but it appears he will take another night off as he continues to recover from an upper-body issue. The Preds will roll with the same pairings as a result, while Weber will take aim at a potential Game 5 return.

Weber (upper body) fully participated in Tuesday's practice and is in position for a possible return for Wednesday's Game 4 against Colorado, Thomas Willis of the team's official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Swiss blueliner has already missed the first three games of the series, which Nashville leads 2-1, as well as the final eight games of the regular season. With just two goals, three assists, and just 12:03 of time on ice per game over 47 contests this campaign, Weber is a third-pairing defenseman who doesn't offer much from a fantasy standpoint.

Weber (upper body) wasn't on the ice for pregame warm-ups and won't be in the lineup Monday for Game 3 versus Colorado, Thomas Willis of the Predators' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Since Weber has now been skating and participating in practice, his absence from warm-ups comes as a surprise, but he still has a chance of returning for Game 4 on Wednesday. Nonetheless, the 29-year-old hasn't had much of an impact offensively with Nashville this season, just logging a goal and an assist during his last 25 games.

Weber (upper body) took warmups ahead of Game 2 against the Avalanche on Saturday, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports. However, he isn't expected to play.
EDGE Analysis
The versatile defenseman was on the ice for pregame, but it doesn't appear that he's actually going to draw into Game 2. Either way, the fantasy impact is minimal with Weber since he only produced five points over 47 regular-season games.

Weber (upper body) is in line to sit out Game 2 against the Avalanche, the Predators' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Weber doesn't play a major role on the back end even when healthy, and the blueliner -- who has sat out each of the last nine games -- could continue to sit even if healthy. His presence at practice again Friday puts him in a good position to return as soon as Game 3, but the Predators could have little incentive to change the lineup if they continue to roll.

Weber (upper body) participated in Thursday's optional skate ahead of Game 1 against the Avalanche, but he remains a projected scratch for the contest, NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Weber last dressed for the Preds on March 24 against the Wild, sitting out each of the last eight games during the regular season. Various maladies throughout the campaign limited the blueliner to just 47 games, notching just five points -- two goals and three assists. His absence shouldn't impact many playoff pools given his limited production while averaging only 12:03 of ice time when healthy.

Weber (upper body) will not play Sunday against the Lightning, according to Adam Vingan of The Tennessean.
EDGE Analysis
It initially appeared that Weber be available against the Sabres on Saturday since he was on the game-day skate, but that didn't come to fruition. While it appears that the extra day of rest didn't do the trick for the versatile skater, Weber is not a viable fantasy option anyway. He's only produced five points through 47 games and is barely clocking 12 minutes of ice time per game.

Weber (upper body) isn't in the lineup versus Buffalo on Saturday, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
After participating in the optional morning skate, Weber seemed probable to return, but he's not ready to man the blue line. Prior to the Swiss native's injury he'd played in 20 of the last 25 games, and although he's just averaging 11:43 of ice time, the consistent playing time is encouraging for when he comes back, and his next chance to take the ice is Sunday against Tampa Bay.

Weber (upper body) isn't on the ice for pregame warmups, indicating he won't play Tuesday against the Wild, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Weber's a solid third-pairing option for Nashville, but fantasy owners shouldn't need to concern themselves with his availability, as his lack of offensive production -- two goals and five points in 47 games this season -- prevents him from being a viable option in all but the deepest of season-long formats. The Predators should release another update on Weber's status once he's cleared to return to game action.

Weber (undisclosed) is day-to-day with his upper-body injury, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Raise your hand if you're counting on this blueliner in fantasy contests ... didn't think so. Weber's only produced five points over 47 games, but the Predators probably admire his versatility since he can be deployed at forward if necessary. It's rather discouraging that he has the nebulous day-to-day label affixed to his name knowing that the Predators have a date scheduled with the visiting Wild on Tuesday night. Weber's official status might not be known until pregame warmups, as he's reportedly taken the a.m. session off for "maintenance."
