The fifth-year pivot jumped out on a rush from the neutral zone and proceeded to lift the puck top shelf, benefiting from a fortuitous ricochet against the pipe. Toffoli qualifies as a bit of a fantasy bust given that he doesn't even have half as many goals compared to that over 82 games last season, and his assists are down as well. To be fair, though, a lower-body injury from the winter paid him no favors since it wiped out 19 contests.

Toffoli's two assists in Thursday's win against the Jets gives him 17 on the season.

It's been a frustrating year for Toffoli, who scored 31 points and 58 games last year. His numbers are down across the board, even on a pro-rated basis. He's hard to rely on in fantasy due to his inconsistent production this season, and it's even harder when head coach Darryl Sutter mixes up the lines. With dates against the Rangers, Oilers and Flames coming up, scoring won't be getting any easier.
