Johnson recorded two assists and two shots through 15:54 of ice time (1:46 with the man advantage) during Thursday's 5-2 win over Colorado.
EDGE Analysis
The 27-year-old forward has now collected two goals and three assists during a three-game point streak, and it's likely no coincidence the uptick in production aligns with his move to a line with Steven Stamkos and Vladislav Namestnikov. Johnson's offensive track record and new assignment make him a strong add in most fantasy settings.

Johnson scored twice Saturday night in a 5-2 win over San Jose.
EDGE Analysis
The goals snapped a 15-game goal drought. Johnson hasn't produced much offense this year -- he had just four assists in those 15 games and he has 13 points in 26 games. You have better options. By far.

Johnson recorded a secondary assist in Thursday's 6-1 home rout over the Stars.
EDGE Analysis
The Bolts rattled their former goalie Ben Bishop and Johnson wasn't about to be left out of the fun. The power-play pivot enjoyed a four-game point streak in October, but otherwise hasn't been able to produce in consecutive contests this season. Don't expect him to buck that trend as long as he's far removed from the league-best top line featuring Steven Stamkos, Vladislav Namestnikov and Nikita Kucherov.

Johnson has gone three games without a point, including the Lightning's 8-5 offensive outburst Monday night.
EDGE Analysis
The Bolts are extremely deep up front, so the forwards on lines other than the top one take turns putting up points. Johnson has been skating with Alex Killorn and JT Brown, or Killorn and Yanni Gourde at even strength, so he's playing more of a depth role right now than in the past. We think the points will come, but it might take a while if Brayden Point continues to show he can center the second line. Be patient.

Johnson contributed a power-play goal and an assist in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Hurricanes.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson brought his season totals up to four goals and three assists in 10 games with this performance. The diminutive center benefits tremendously from extra time and space to show off his skills with the extra man, which is why eight of Johnson's 23 goals since the start of last season have come on the power play.

Johnson scored a shorthanded goal and registered four shots on net during Monday's 3-2 win over Detroit.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson has been deployed down the depth chart a little further than in years past, but it hasn't killed his production, as he's still recorded a respectable three goals, four points and 11 shots through six games. His 72-point campaign in 2014-15 now looks like it probably should be viewed as a statistical outlier, and fantasy expectations are best kept in check moving forward. Unless Johnson is elevated into a more prominent role, he's nothing more than a serviceable asset in most settings.

Johnson scored his second goal of the season in Saturday's 2-1 win over St. Louis.
EDGE Analysis
It came on the power play. Johnson doesn't have elite linemates like he had in the past, so it's hard to imagine that he'll deliver near-career marks. His owners should watch for a streak to develop and then work to see what return can be had in a trade. If Johnson's linemate limitations continue, you probably want him on someone else's squad, not yours.

Johnson missed a portion of practice Monday after taking a puck to the face, Joe Smith of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Injuries have limited Johnson to less than 70 games in each of the last two seasons, so fantasy owners were no doubt envisioning another shortened campaign when he initially left the ice. However, it appears the center is good to go and should be available against the Panthers on Friday.

Johnson revamped his workouts and diet over the summer and feels "10 times better" than he did last season when he believed he was stronger and better than ever, reports the Tampa Bay Times.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson took an ASPI (Applied Science & Performance Institute) body science test, a biomechanical evaluation used to root out structural imbalances, deficiencies and other things. "I changed everything," Johnson said. "I changed the way I ate, the way I trained, the way I moved. I think it feels a lot better." He also focused on strength training and hopes that he has built a base that will keep him healthy and on the ice a whole lot more than over the last few seasons. Johnson is poised for a serious rebound season. Snap him up.

Johnson re-signed with the Lightning on a seven-year, $35 million deal, Stephen Whyno of the AP News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson, who's appeared in 308 games for Tampa Bay across the past five years, racked up 19 goals and 45 points in 66 games last season while serving as the team's primary face-off specialist. Although his numbers have been down since his stellar 2014 campaign, part of the blame goes to injury considering Johnson has missed 29 games over the past two years. If he can simply stay healthy, there's optimism for some sort of bounce-back season.
