Brouwer notched his sixth goal of the season and had an assist Sunday against the Ducks.
EDGE Analysis
It was the first power-play goal of the season for Brouwer, who helped the Flames pick up their third straight victory. The 31-year-old now has 13 points in 28 games and is currently sporting a three-game point streak. Brouwer plays on the third line, but his lethal shot and power-play role, in addition to his 16 PIM, make him of value in deeper leagues.

Brouwer added his fifth assist of the season in Wednesday's win against Toronto.
EDGE Analysis
Brouwer's numbers might not be overwhelming (five goals, five assists in 26 games), but the 31-year-old still has value, particularly in deeper leagues. Last season for St. Louis, Brouwer recorded 39 points (18 goals, 21 assists) in 82 games.

Brouwer scored his fifth goal of the season to end a nine-game goal drought during Wednesday's win over Columbus.
EDGE Analysis
It's been an underwhelming start for Brouwer, as the 31-year-old veteran hasn't completely capitalized on his more offensively inclined role with Calgary. However, his peripheral statistics (34 shots, 14 penalty minutes and 51 hits) help make up for his underwhelming offensive contributions (five goals and nine points) in deep fantasy leagues.

Brouwer recorded two assists with a plus-2 rating during Friday's loss to Chicago.
EDGE Analysis
It was a nice bounce-back showing for Brouwer because he was pointless with a minus-6 rating through his previous six outings. The 31-year-old veteran has just four goals and nine points through the first 19 games of the season despite playing a significant offensive role for most of the year. Fantasy owners should continue to temper expectations with Brouwer, and he's far from a universal own at this stage.

Brouwer added a goal in Calgary's 4-3 win over San Jose on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Brouwer has quietly recorded a point in seven of Calgary's first 12 games this season (four goals, three assists). Last season for St. Louis, the 31-year-old recorded 39 points (18 goals, 21 assists) in 82 games.

Brouwer scored his second goal of the season in a 2-1 shootout loss to the Canucks on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran winger was credited with the tally in the first period when the Canucks' Loui Eriksson accidentally shot the puck in his own empty net on a delayed penalty. Nevertheless, they all count, so owners will be pleased with the early returns on Brouwer (two goals, six shots, two PIM and an average ice time of 17:48) through three games in Cow Town.

Brouwer scored a shorthanded goal in Wednesday's 7-4 Opening Night loss to the Oilers.
EDGE Analysis
It was the first point as a member of the Flames for the former Blue, Capital and Blackhawk, who signed a four-year deal with Calgary in the summer summer. Brouwer also spent 2:57 on the team's top power-play unit with studs like Mark Giordano, Johnny Gaudreau and Sean Monahan in this one, a role that should translate to a healthy amount of points, should he stick there for an extended period of time this season.

Brouwer signed a four-year, $18 million contract with the Flames on Friday, Bob McKenzie of The Hockey Insider reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 30-year-old will enter his 11th year in the league after spending a one-off season in St. Louis where he accrued 18 goals and 21 assists over 82 outings. In fact, Brouwer has managed to play all 82 games in each of his past three seasons and will look to add depth at right wing on a team that also rosters Johnny Gaudreau, Alex Chiasson, and Michael Frolik.

Brouwer, a pending unrestricted free agent, is interested in returning to the Blues next season, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
Brouwer banked $11 million over the past three seasons, with the 2015-16 season being his first in St. Louis. This year, he recorded 18 goals, 21 assists in the regular season, along with 13 points in 20 games during the playoffs. Doug Armstrong, general manager for the Blues, will take into account that David Backes is also looking to stay put -- like Brouwer, Backes is a two-way forward but has 10 years of service time with the club.

Brouwer buried a goal in Monday's 6-3 loss to the Sharks for Game 5.
EDGE Analysis
It was a spectacular goal from Brouwer, as he didn't even let the puck hit the ice on a rebound before blasting it against the twine. Brouwer now has eight goals in the playoffs, including three in the past two games. With the Blues now down 3-2 in the series with Game 6 scheduled for Wednesday, the team desperately needs Brouwer to stay hot offensively. Unfortunately, he's as streaky as they come, so be careful about how you use him in fantasy.
