Tatar notched an assist, two hits and two PIM in Wednesday's 8-2 win over the Ducks.
EDGE Analysis
Tatar has three helpers over his last two games after going six contests without a point. The winger helped out on Samuel Girard's opening tally in the first period. Tatar has moved up into a top-six role for now -- he saw 13:52 of ice time Wednesday, his highest total in November. He's at seven assists, eight shots on net, 11 hits, six blocked shots, 10 PIM and a minus-4 rating through 14 outings overall.

Tatar recorded two assists and three shots on goal in Monday's 5-1 win over the Kraken.
EDGE Analysis
Tatar had a puck bounce off him to Ross Colton for the Avalanche's second tally, a power-play goal. His second assist of the game was much more deliberate, as Tatar set up Cale Makar early in the third period. This effort ended a six-game point drought for Tatar, who was also scratched once in that span. He's up to six helpers, eight shots on net, nine hits, six blocked shots, eight PIM and a minus-3 rating through 13 outings. The 32-year-old could get a chance to fill a top-six role at even strength with Artturi Lehkonen (upper body) out, though Tatar saw just 12:17 of ice time Monday.

Tatar had three shots on net and two hits over 10:36 of ice time in Saturday's 7-0 loss to Vegas.
EDGE Analysis
Tatar was back in the active lineup following Wednesday's healthy scratch. He skated on the fourth line with Andrew Cogliano and Fredrik Olofsson and had a season-high in shots. Tatar had just one SOG over his first eight games. With the Avalanche being shut out for a third time in four games, head coach Jared Bednar may consider more permanent changes heading into Tuesday's home game against the Devils.

Tatar was a healthy scratch Wednesday against St. Louis.
EDGE Analysis
Tatar's spot in the active lineup was a casualty after Colorado had dropped two straight shutout losses. Jonathan Drouin joined Tatar in the press box for the evening, as Riley Tufte and Kurtis MacDermid entered the the fray. Tatar, who has seven 20-goal seasons to his name, has just one shot on net through eight games this year. With the Avalanche snapping a two-game losing streak and scoring for the first time since Oct. 24 on Wednesday, the lineup will likely remain the same Saturday in Vegas.

Tatar had an assist, one blocked shot, two hits and four penalty minutes in Tuesday's 7-4 win over the Islanders.
EDGE Analysis
Tatar did most of the work on what turned out to be the game-winning goal in the third period. Off a lost defensive-zone faceoff, the winger blocked an Adam Pelech shot from the point, then Tatar outskated the Islanders to the loose puck in the New York zone and fed Mikko Rantanen for the goal. Both Tatar and Rantanen remained on the second line after they were moved to that unit during Saturday's game. That line was on the ice for four of Colorado's seven strikes. Tatar, who is still looking for his first goal in an Avalanche uniform, has four assists through six games.

Tatar blocked one shot over 16:38 of ice time in Saturday's 6-4 win over Carolina.
EDGE Analysis
Tatar opened the game on the top line after finishing up there in Thursday's win over Chicago. Then about midway through the second period, head coach Jared Bednar switched the forwards on the top two lines. Tatar and Mikko Rantanen dropped to the second line, while Artturi Lehkonen and Valeri Nichushkin moved up to Nathan MacKinnon's line. The move had its desired effect, as the Avalanche scored four goals over the final seven minutes of the period to take control of the game. Bednar likes MacKinnon and Rantanen together on the top line, so those two could reunite Tuesday against the Islanders, but Tatar's role going forward may change.

Tatar notched two assists and went plus-2 in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Blackhawks.
EDGE Analysis
Tatar was shuffled around a bit in this contest. He started on the third line, but he was seeing top-line shifts in place of Jonathan Drouin by the third period. Tatar has registered three helpers through four contests, but he's added just one shot on goal, two hits, three blocked shots and a plus-2 rating. If he were to get more consistent top-six minutes, his offense would likely improve.

Tatar notched an assist and blocked two shots in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
Tatar played on the third line, though he saw just 9:55 of ice time in this contest. The 32-year-old winger was able to salvage his Avalanche debut by assisting on Miles Wood's empty-netter in the the third period. Tatar averaged 15:07 of ice time per game while recording 48 points in 82 outings last season, but it's safe to assume he'll see a smaller role with Colorado. Fantasy managers probably shouldn't expect much more than 40 points from the winger this year.

Tatar is at practice Friday after sorting out his immigration papers, Brennan Vogt of The-Rink.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Tatar has not practiced since playing Sunday. Tatar had 20 goals and 48 points in 82 games with the Devils last season. Look for similar numbers this season from the 32-year-old, who should hold down a middle-six role.

Tatar did not practice Tuesday because he was away from the team to get immigration papers sorted out, Evan Rawal of Colorado Hockey Now reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Avalanche confirmed Tatar's absence was due to the immigration issue and not taking a puck off the hand during a preseason game Sunday. He is expected to back by Thursday, in time for Colorado's next preseason game.
