The Red Wings have activated Todd Bertuzzi from the injured list prior to Saturday afternoon's game against the Kings. He will suit up after missing the last six games with a rather serious sinus infection. Activate Bertuzzi immediately if you need him.

"It felt a lot better," Bertuzzi said. "I'm hoping (to play). I didn't come all the way here without thinking there's a chance (to play). I've had two pretty good days and I'll see how I feel after this and then see (Saturday) morning." Stay tuned.

"I've had some problems with being dizzy and lightheaded. I've got to get the swelling down in my ears so I can get my balance back. It started when I got hit in Minnesota, and then I played two games and it just got worse and worse. I felt lightheaded and dizzy, not myself. Then I got a sinus infection and went and got my ears checked. Had a little swelling. I'm on some pills, trying to get the swelling down." He is listed as day-to-day after missing the past two games with the illness.
