Stutzle has been placed on injured reserve retroactive to Jan. 16.
EDGE Analysis
Stutzle won't be available for Saturday's clash with the Jets, but he's still considered day-to-day with his undisclosed issue, so he could return to the lineup as soon as Monday against Vancouver. The 19-year-old rookie has potted one goal in two games this campaign.

Stutzle (undisclosed) will join the Senators for their six-game road trip, Brent Wallace of TSN.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
Coach DJ Smith wouldn't commit to Stutzle playing but acknowledged "he looked good out there" at Friday's practice session. The rookie skated on Ottawa's second line role prior to getting hurt and figures to retake that spot in the lineup once given the green light to return.

As expected, Stutzle (undisclosed) won't play Thursday against the Jets, Mike Zeisberger of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stutzle skated Thursday and coach DJ smith doesn't expect him to be sidelined much longer, so the 19-year-old rookie could be back in action as soon as Saturday for the second half of the Senators' back-to-back matchups with Winnipeg. Stutzle has scored one goal and fired four shots on net while averaging 13:32 of ice time in two contests this campaign.

Stutzle (undisclosed) is in doubt against Winnipeg on Wednesday, Brent Wallace of TSN.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
Coach DJ Smith referred to Stutzle's injury as minor but still indicated the rookie wouldn't be ready to play in time Thursday. If the German winger is unable to play, fantasy players can likely expect Alex Galchenyuk to continue slotting into a top-six role, though Connor Brown could make a push for more minutes as well. Once healthy, Stutzle figures to rejoin the second line and could be in the mix for power-play minutes down the road.

Stuetzle won't be available Tuesday night against the Jets due to a minor injury.
EDGE Analysis
Ottawa doesn't seem to be overly concerned about Stuetzle's injury, so it's possible he'll only have to miss one contest with the issue. With Stuetzle unavailable, Alex Galchenyuk will draw into the lineup and make his Senators' debut against Winnipeg on Tuesday.

Stuetzle scored his first NHL goal Saturday in a 3-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.
EDGE Analysis
It was a beautiful one-timer high over Jack Campbell's shoulder. Stuetzle has star-like quality and will be exciting to watch this season. But his fantasy production will likely be tempered simply because the Sens are rebuilding.

Stuetzle completed his quarantine and joined the Senators for practice Sunday, Brent Wallace of TSN.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
After being named the top forward at the IIHF World Junior Championship by posting five goals and as many assists over five games, Stuetzle will join the Senators ahead of Friday's season opener against the Maple Leafs. The No. 3 overall pick should easily make the NHL roster. While it's unclear what role he'll play out of the gate, a top-six gig is within reach.

Stuetzle is expected to complete his quarantine and be eligible to join his teammates for practice Sunday but won't be able to practice before that point.
EDGE Analysis
Coming off a stellar performance at the WJC, the rookie third overall pick will have to wait a few more days before he can strut his stuff for the Senators. Once he gets up to speed, it shouldn't take Stuetzle long to capture a prominent role on the rebuilding Ottawa club.

Upon the conclusion of the IIHF World Junior Championship on Tuesday, Stuetzle was named the tournament's top forward, reports Brent Wallace of TSN.
EDGE Analysis
Stuetzle formed something of a Team Germany three-headed monster with teammates John-Jason Peterka and Florian Elias, who combined for 29 points in just five games and finished fourth, fifth and sixth in tournament scoring. Despite the low expectations surrounding the Senators as a whole this season, fans and fantasy managers alike have plenty to be excited about with Stuetzle, who figures to feature in a substantial role in Canada's capital this season.
