Durzi notched an assist, three shots on goal, three hits and five blocked shots in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Golden Knights.
EDGE Analysis
Durzi packed enough stats in the season opener to make for a productive fantasy line, but it was his turnover in the last minute of the game that cost the Kings a standings point. The 23-year-old defenseman impressed last season, seeing regular run as a power-play option, though those minutes will dry up with Drew Doughty back in the lineup. As such, it could be tough for Durzi to match the 27 points, including 15 on the power play, he produced in 64 contests as a rookie in 2021-22. He should still be a lock for top-four minutes.

Durzi (shoulder) is expected to play in Thursday's preseason contest, reports Zach Dooley of LA Kings Insider.
EDGE Analysis
"Feeling good, ready to go," Durzi said. "I'm excited finally and there's not much more to do. Just go play." This will be Durzi's first game since undergoing surgery in May. He's projected to play on the second pairing with Tobias Bjornfot.

Durzi has been making strides in his recovery from shoulder surgery, reports Zach Dooley of LA Kings Insider.
EDGE Analysis
Durzi has been skating since the Kings' training camp began, but he initially wore a non-contact jersey and wasn't part of the main group. He moved to that group Wednesday for his first full practice and was tested further Friday with Los Angeles conducting more physical battle drills. It's encouraging to see that kind of steady progress, but it still remains to be seen if he'll get into any preseason games. Dooley pretty much ruled out the possibility of Durzi playing in Sunday's exhibition game against Anaheim, saying he's "not quite" ready.

Durzi (shoulder) agreed to terms on a two-year, $3.4 million contract extension with Los Angeles on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Durzi is coming off a solid rookie campaign in which he garnered three goals, 27 assists and 15 power-play points in 64 games. Considering over half of the blueliner's points came with the man advantage, fantasy players may want to take a cautionary approach to utilizing Durzi this season now that Drew Doughty is healthy and available to fill those power-play minutes.

Durzi underwent surgery on his shoulder Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Durzi is expected to make a full recovery in time for the 2022-23 season. The 23-year-old was a breakout rookie for the Kings this year, logging 27 points (15 on the power play) with 121 blocked shots, 74 hits and 55 PIM in 64 regular-season outings. He could take on more consistent top-four minutes next year.

Durzi scored a power-play goal on two shots and added two hits in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Oilers in Game 6.
EDGE Analysis
Durzi got the Kings on the board at 13:59 of the second period. The 23-year-old defenseman continues to play fairly well in the postseason -- he has three points, 15 shots on net, 10 hits, 12 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating through six contests. Despite being listed on the third pairing, he's seen top-four minutes and power-play time as he did for much of the regular season.

Durzi notched a power-play assist, four blocked shots and two hits in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime win over the Oilers in Game 5.
EDGE Analysis
Durzi picked up his second assist in five playoff outings in his first taste of the postseason. The defenseman has worked more as a power-play specialist rather than the all-around No. 1 as he did for portions of the regular season. He's contributed 13 shots on net, eight hits, 11 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating.

Durzi logged a power-play assist, two shots on goal and two hits in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Blackhawks.
EDGE Analysis
Durzi ended a four-game point drought when he helped out on Phillip Danault's opening tally in the first period. The 23-year-old Durzi has been good as a rookie this year, posting 27 points (15 on the power play) in 61 contests. He's effectively filled in for Drew Doughty (wrist) as the Kings' top-scoring defenseman. Durzi has added 112 blocked shots, 70 hits, 111 shots on net, 55 PIM and a minus-10 rating in a top-four role.

Durzi notched a power-play assist, three hits, two blocked shots, four PIM and a minus-2 rating in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Flames.
EDGE Analysis
It's a bit of mixed results for Durzi, but he's gotten back on track on the scoresheet with assists in each of the last two games. The rookie defenseman is up to 25 points, 93 shots on net, 95 blocked shots, 60 hits, 49 PIM and a minus-11 rating in 54 contests overall. As long as Drew Doughty (undisclosed) remains out, Durzi should continue to get time on the top power-play unit -- where he has 13 of his points -- and the first defense pairing.

Durzi recorded an assist, four shots on goal, two blocked shots and two PIM in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
Durzi helped out on an Anze Kopitar tally in the first period. After going minus-5 in his last three games, this was an encouraging outing for Durzi to get back on track. The 23-year-old rookie is up to 24 points, 93 shots on net, 93 blocked shots, 57 hits, 45 PIM and a minus-9 rating through 53 appearances. With the Kings' missing a lot of defensemen to injury, he's played top-pairing minutes over the last three-plus weeks.
