Ryan Malone (shoulder) has been moved to Tampa's injured reserve list. He is out indefinitely with a left shoulder injury that he sustained Monday night against Philadelphia. Pierre-Cedric Labrie will take his spot in the lineup Wednesday night.

The Tampa Bay Lightning announced Tuesday that Ryan Malone will be sidelined indefinitely with a shoulder injury. Malone left Monday's game against the Flyers after a hit from Philadelphia forward Zac Rinaldo in the third period. Malone also missed a large chunk of games earlier in the season with a lower-body issue and with only a month left on the schedule it's fair to wonder if he'll return in time to make an impact on the fantasy season. At this point, it might be time for owners to move away from the rugged winger.

Ryan Malone exited Monday's game with an upper-body injury. He left following a hit from Philadelphia's Zac Rinaldo in the third period. Malone has missed 13 games already this campaign because of a lower-body issue.

Ryan Malone potted a power play goal in Saturday's loss to the Montreal Canadiens. With seven points in 12 games in this 48-game shortened season, the rugged winger is worth a look in 12-team leagues, especially if your league rewards power play points. He's currently playing on the Lightning's first unit.

Ryan Malone (lower body) won't play Thursday. He skated Wednesday morning but won't accompany the team to New York for the start of their four-game road trip Thursday night versus the Rangers. However, he hopes to join them at some point.

Although he's not yet cleared for contact, Malone said there's not much else he can't do. Coach Guy Boucher said Malone will spend the next few days continuing his rehab before participating in a full-contact practice. He has been sidelined since Feb. 7 and appears on track to meet his original timetable of three to four weeks.

He had four goals and five points in 10 games so look elsewhere and take him out of your lineup.
